Hello Ellen thank you again for educating the soap world. When your school i call it comes on I know I will learn something new and for a old schoolgirl I so appreciate have a blessed day. Kathy from Cali. 😎
Wow! Love these little 🎃 love how you did the repairs on them, they look so realistic. I can see funny looking faces on some of them .Thank you for sharing xx
I almost bought that scent. I love thunderstorms as well. Sadly my climate changed and they die down to nothing when they come my way. For the past 15 years I’ll say. Those pumpkins are cute as a button. Congratulations on the new grand baby.
They are just absolutely cute. Yes, we go to the pumpkin farm every year to get pumpkins off of the vine. My son is 34 and still likes to go. Love those, so realistic! Cheers 👍🤗
Your piping is amazing. Wow I panicked for you for while getting that thickening batter in the moulds. This happened to me when I made salt bars. I had 3 kilos of oil and poured into little cavity moulds. I had lots of chunks too and filled them in like you did. (I burned my fingers as I think my batter was still saponifying, lesson learnt). Your pumpkins are tremendous! Love them. Xx Cass. Xx
Looking forward to making your lotion bar recipe. How solid/firm do they end up? Can you handle them, like a bar of soap, or do they melt pretty quickly?
Ms Ellen, do you mind sharing where you got your Kaolin Clay and Colloidal Oats containers and spoons? My soap making supplies are so incredibly disorganized but I now how a spare bedroom that is going to become my art/craft studio after my youngest moved into his own place. I'm super stoked to have a space to create and I haven't been able to make soap in forever because it's all boxed up while I renovate the space. I'd LOVE to use containers like that for things like that. Hmmm, that sounds like a tagline for something. LOL! As always, your soaps turned out beautifully! I'm going to have to go place an order to thank you for sharing all of your experiences on here for all of us less experienced people. It is appreciated more than you know.
I have the exact same old, also tried a pumpkin fragrance, but yours turned out 100 times better than mine! I had to spoon in the batter! They look horrible! Lmao😅
I learn so much for your videos as I new to soap making. How much pumpkin puree per lb?. Did u have 2 refrigerate them?. Thank u for showing in the pot swirls I love the technique. U can rinse soap utensils after use or shud I wait a day for the soap 2 solidify? Do u clean ur item in any special way?
So cute. I have never really soaped with powdered additives before but since I’ve enjoyed your channel so much I decided to try it with powdered coconut milk and clays. I’ve noticed my soaps are a little pitty. Do you think this could be that the powders aren’t incorporated or soaked in enough? How long do you typically let the oils sit / mix in before starting the lye process.
I typically let the powders soak in the oils for at least 5 min. Some soapers like to hydrate the powders in water before adding, that might help your issue..?
Ellen, hearing you say Olga you made me laugh you made my day! thank you! Kathy😎
The pumpkins look like they were picked off the ground and the slugs started to eat them. They are really cute and rustic looking

Guinness beer soap. Irish inspired.
I´m glad, you were able to save it.😅
Me too🤣🎃
These are super cute. You should have painted some of them with the large defects, that could have been a mouth and you paint the eyes 🎃
🎃💕
Looking forward to making your lotion bar recipe. How solid/firm do they end up? Can you handle them, like a bar of soap, or do they melt pretty quickly?
They are pretty firm and solid. Like a deoderant stick firmness..
They are so beautiful omg. Ellen did you do a water discount because of the puree, if I don’t do it what would happened to soap?
Yes, I do a steep water discount to make room for the puree🤎
Love your positivity 🥰 they turned out super cute! And there isn’t a perfect pumpkin, the flaws are what give them character!
🥳🙌🏻
Thanks 🎃❣️

I have the exact same old, also tried a pumpkin fragrance, but yours turned out 100 times better than mine! I had to spoon in the batter! They look horrible! Lmao😅
Arrrgh, these yummy pumpkin fragrances are notorious for speeding up trace🎃
I learn so much for your videos as I new to soap making. How much pumpkin puree per lb?. Did u have 2 refrigerate them?. Thank u for showing in the pot swirls I love the technique.
U can rinse soap utensils after use or shud I wait a day for the soap 2 solidify? Do u clean ur item in any special way?
I water discounted from the lye solution for the pumpkin. And I wash my dishes right away after I'm done soaping.

Hello Ellen, where did you get the pumpkin molds? Could you make shampoo bars with that mold?

How do you know what to change or how ugh you make it look so easy but I’m good at messing it up, any thoughts?
