I got the first edition of these for like $100nzd and the beats fit pro, for some reason I'm always grabbing for the Marshall's. Going to pick up these new ones soon! The first ones fit my ears perfectly, been through the washing machine and still work. Nice and loud with amazing quality. Noise cancelling is solid as too put them on in the gym feel like im in my own bubble. Where the fit pro are so fiddly, definitely less likely to fall out but no where near as comfortable as the marshalls. The marshalls are also ridiculously light sometimes I forget I've even got them in my ears after pausing my music to talk to someone. Definitely would recommend these if you can pick them up on sale
So if the video is sponsored, the product is automatically perfect in every way? I didn't hear or see one single negative in that review whatsoever. It makes me wonder how much they paid you.
There are ALWAYS some negatives - even the best have some minor issues that get picked up by reviewers. I don't believe there is a perfect pair of earbuds, especially for £180! I have always been a big fan of Chris's videos, but not this time!
Thanks for another great intro vid. As a bit of a fan of the Brand (with the Stanmore I, Monitor II ANC and Willen in our Marshall Family), I have been running the Motif I for almost a year and they basically did the job. But I have say, they weren't the greatest, compared to rest of The Family. Battery Life was 'OK' but, unless I rested them in the case, they wouldn't last a whole day. ANC really didn't cancel out much and the sound quality was, again 'OK' and then, few weeks ago the left hand bud's casing broke (Nothing that a dab of UHU can't fix). But wouldn't you know it, with perfect timing, Santa just delivered the Motif II ANC. Running them all day today and the difference is noticeable. I changed the bud to the large size for a tighter fit and then tested the ANC. It really does cancel almost all of the chatter - TV blasting and 'Madam' with her phone music set to LOUD. I did a bit of digging into the Battery Life and, according to Marshall with ANC and Transparency Off, we could be looking at up to 9 hours for the buds and a total of 43 hours with the case. Let's see how accurate that is in the coming days. Sound quality is definitely better and the EQ side helps a lot with all that. Keep up the good work, buddy!
Bought a pair and found the A.N.C Active Noise Cancelling most disappointing even on the highest setting - nearly Non existent. Any advice on how to get better performance from them would be greatly welcomed - Thanks
So many things to like about these going on one year. One big dislike: if you remove one or both, the media pauses. So annoying. Especially if you want to skip a commercial or quickly listen to someone ask a quick question.
These have been heavily discounted lately where I live & I'm glad Uncle Spurt did a review.👍🏻The audio from those mics sound decent even with all of the 'shindiggery' in the background..😅
With all honesty the bad comments I read regarding he being bought off are ridiculous. Very rarely I see reviewers saying any product is absolute crap. That's why comparison videos exist, which conicidently enough the marshall motifs rarely appear in. But he did say it was sponsored.
Hey, how good are the noise canceling on these because I’m interested in maybe getting these or the AirPods pro 2 which ones do you recommend which ones have better noise canceling are the Marshall earbuds good do they have any lag or hiccups trying to figure out which pair I should get for the price
Nice to see them sticking to their well known aesthetic. Tons of features if you're willing to splash the cash. Coincidentally I just recently bought my first pair of BT earphones after holding out for years. But I really did not want to spend a ton of cash (aka I'm skint) on branded stuff. The black Friday sales were lacklustre but I managed to find a great pair of earbuds for just €24 and I'm really impressed. QCY T16 they're called and gave a Qualcomm audio CPU inside so it has really strong features for this price. So if anyone is considering getting earbuds but doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg, don't be afraid to try the budget ones.
The thing I hate about all tech reviewers including you when reviewing audio devices is where the magnitude response measurement is? Do you think I gonna believe what you said without a data?
FFS, this is not his first paid video, so, calm down, haters :) Uncle Spurt needs some money to buy some booze for inspiration. P.S Are the Marshalls still good to listen to some rock and metal music?
My problem with the Marshall devices is they do everything right and cool and user friendly and looking sexy and feeling premium and so on, everything.... except the sound quality. Major III headset was a total garbage because of that, Major IV the same. So I don't care how cool it looks and how good it feels, never buying anything from them ever again.
Ahhh.... I see! You've started doing adverts! Yes - 'includes paid promotion'. Although that definition is somewhat apocryphal as it obviously IS a paid promotion rather than including one. I'll have to watch for that in your future content and give it a miss. I have to say I'm disappointed in you Chris, I thought you were better than that.

What is the latency like with marshall motif 2 anc headphones? For example, when you turn up the volume on your cell phone, how quickly it responds?
