Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for making this video!
Welcome Dustin! You a bit Canon guy?
@@EastonBennett Yes, I have two R6s and I'm rigging them out for weddings.
Dope man that’s awesome. Love that I could help out!
Thank you man! The video is full of benefits for me. Thanks a lot! So i hope i can find this accessories in Indonesia...
Appreciate you my man!!
Love this... R6 has a lot of potential rigged like this. Especially in 50p to lower the rolling shutter.
Agreed!
So helpful!!!
Thanks so much for watching 🤘🏻
Hi there Easton, thank you for the video! I have a question. do you know if your sigma 24 - 70 supports the R6's servo AF speed functionality?
I believe so!! I haven’t had any issues with it
Love this bro. I am currently building out my R6 rig as well. Just got an Atomos Ninja for it :) What made you choose the Sigma 24-70? I have been considering the RF version but you already know that price is very high. I have the EF version but obviously the RF lenses are very appealing.
I’m a cheap ass😂
Hey man nice video, how long are those rods? 12 inch ? Thanks
I think so yup!!
Love it, question.....I know the r6 and Monitors are not always a matchmake in heaven. How do you quickly set the white balance and touch screen options. Does the Canon screen work at all when hooked up to the Ninja?
Same controls to set the white balance! If you are shooting on the ninja the screen does show up on the camera as well
Hi, wondering if you have a link for the multi tool you use?
I’ve been searching for the perfect camera multi tool, as a result I’ve collected too many. Some come close but they are always missing something, but my current favorite is the SmallRig 9 piece for videographers (it has the wide flat head).
I’d love to see what you use a little more closely.
Honestly have no idea where I got it. I think it’s small rig tho?
Get the timberman bracelet! (Or a third party from ali) Great for cameras
@bryllupsvideografIsak going to have to, I keep losing mine
can you send links to all products? Great video bro
Should be in the kit link below the video!’
I have the ninja. One big problem tho, the fan doesn’t turn on so it overheats too soon.
I have never had my ninja overheat, if that what you are referring too?
Hey, man. With how you have the R6 rigged (external recording, and a v-mount battery) do you still run into over heating issues? Thanks in advanced! Sweet video
Not in 4k24. 4k60 yes but you get way longer
@@EastonBennettsick! Thank you! I’d most likely only use it in short bursts anyway, but thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.
@MindYaBizz_Whiz appreciate you watching and connecting!!
If you get a dummy battery for the R6 with a USB connection you can connect that to a smallrig vmount pro and eliminate any overheating isues whatsoever
@@etorres1217 word! Thanks dude
hey, is there a list mentioning every product you have here?
Yes! Should be in the Kit link in the bio
How much approximately all the accessories cost?
700-1000 roughly?
Are you able to still record internally while using the monitor? I can't seem to make it happen and I saw other people talking about canon not allowing it but allowing it on thr R5 and even the R
Haven’t figured it out on the R6 :/ works on my R though
@@EastonBennett balls, yeah seems they got out the cripple hammer again. Faaack, might look at selling it then. How have you found it?
I don’t mind that it’s missing it. It would be nice but I don’t NEED it. I usually just record to the monitor, having a backup would be nice though
There is a work around, if you turn off all on screen settings and record to both it would technically work
@@EastonBennett yeah I get you. I just can't afford the ninja v so only have a monitor at the moment
What’s all this weigh
My issue with using a monitor on the r6 is it turns off my display.
I struggle with this because I can’t tap on the monitor to select what I want in focus. Shooting weddings in always wanting to sure it’s focused on the right person, thing,
You can change this in the settings!
@@EastonBennett teach me :) I haven't been able to successfully do this by watching any tutorials on UA-cam.
@@brittnelsonvideo you can't have the internal AND external monitor turned both on, unfortunately.
But obviously, an external monitor doesn't really make so much sense to me anyway when shooting autofocus, as you can't control anything via the external monitor anyway (except for the Portkeys LH5P i guess).
I decided to use autofocus for situations, where the autofocus system of the R6 does not have any chance to get distracted (=lose focus), and use manual focus for difficult focus situations.
Let me know if you found a better solution in the meantime :)
@@Papageihund thanks for your comment! Do you know if the R6 II will allow it O.o? fingers crossed :O
@@brittnelsonvideo i don't know. just bought a Portkeys LH5P ii monitor, which allows doing camera changes of the R6 on the external monitor. For sony, it even allows to set autofocus points. So i guess Canon will not support the autofocus function for their cameras so soon (just my feeling).
Nice vid! Just missing a mic.
External audio ;)
Bro I'm lost everytime I try hooking a monitor up to the R6ii I get this "NO CARD RECORDING WITH CLEAN HDMI OUT CONNNECTED"
Sorry just seeing this, I did some troubleshooting and couldn't find an answer. Did you get it figured out?
You gotta go in the settings and change the mode to cam + monitor
So basicly just move the items from the R to the R6...
Add item link in description that basic
