I bought a refurbished DC28 back in 2012 and that thing can still suck the paint off the wall if given the chance. Best vacuum I ever bought, 16 years and counting!

My Dyson 8 is down too much. I've had it 4 years and replaced several parts. If you don't buy from Dyson they say that's why it doesn't run right. Going on my 3rd battery $85

Dyson vaccum is worth every penny in my opinion. I had a V10 for 3 years, so ridiculously easy to use, to empty, to clean. I regret i didnt buy it sonner

We've had several Dyson's in our family ( we are in the UK), many friends and associates have had Dyson's - from personal experience and feedback within my little circle , consensus is they are overpriced , plastic and not particularly reliable. In my opinion you cannot beat a Miele. We have had our C series for 8 years, my two daughters have had their Miele vacuums for a similar period. The fact the machine requires a dust bag is a bonus, so much cleaner and efficient compared to the dirty cyclone design.

Maintenance is key. I’ve had all mine from new DC14 & DC59 still going strong.

NOTHING beats a Riccar cordless upright. The battery is the size of New Zealand!

I'd love to hear your opinion on if you think Kirby Vacuums are worth their extremely high price tag as well. I see them on Amazon for about $600 refurbished but the new ones are retailing for about $2500.

We do have a Kirby review video slated however it has not been filmed yet. The question of "are they worth the money" is highly subjective. For many people owning a Dyson is worth the money so they can tell their neighbors "I have a Dyson". For other people who prioritize longevity or functionality maybe not.
