- Call me Imagine Dragons cause I nearly forgot Origins existed.
Today I share my thoughts on the band's 2018 album, Origins. I am now caught up with all released albums and will review Mercury - Act 2 when it releases in July.

A good collection of songs is a good description of this album. I feel it's their most overproduced album which harms the songs more for me. Though, lyrics are a strong point of this album.
My Favorites are definitely Natural, Bullet In A Gun, Real Life, Birds, Burn Out, Cool Out
My least favorites are Stuck, West Coast, and Zero
I would give this album a 5.2 / 10

I love your videos, really like that the band gets some attention from youtubers and just individuals, since they really only get talked about in general and people just like stuff fromthem in general you know. One thing i dont really like about your videos, which is not a deal breaker, its just uuuuh... idk, weird? when you talk you move your head around way too much or sounds like that and the constant paning is offputing sometimes and gets me out if the loop xd idk how else to say it. It reminds me of one of my bros who constantly walks around and does like adhd shit when he talks xddd

Yeah that's what I started reviewing the albums cause I wanted a more positive light on the band
As for the audio, yeah I do notice that at times and try to minimize it. In this video in particularly it's mostly just how my setup. Also with this one I was working off my laptop instead of my desktop and for some reason the sound card makes it really awkward to work with audio
@@jollyproductions9298 np though, it became like a distinguishing thing for me xd I know when Im watching your videos by the voice paning :D Keep up what youre doing, I dont get to share their music that much because nobody thinks of them deeper than the radio. And their music is special to me idk why exactly.
Digital is so painfully earrape
I am so mixed on this one. I think the biggest issue for me is the deluxe thing. If Real Life, Burn Out, and Birds replaced Digital, Stuck, and Love, it would easily be better than evolve. Heck, if Birds, Burn Out, and Real Life were actually on the album and not bonus tracks it probably would be better than Evolve, but it also has Digital which is one of their worst songs. My fav songs on it are Natural, Bad Liar, Cool Out, Zero, Bullet In A Gun, Boomerang, and Only. (The three bonus tracks are even better than most of these but since they're not technically on the album I didn't put them here). The only song I don't really like is Digital.
Yeah the deluxe songs are honestly some of the best to come out of this album. Don't really understand how they didn't officially make the cut for the album
