- With a steady supply of stolen cars and trucks, business is booming for chop shops. The I-Team's Ginger Allen takes a closer look at the issue, and what you can do to deter thieves from swiping your ride.
Even if you report and uave evidence ,the city won't do shyt
What's crazy is I know the First Shop On The 2nd floor on Marsalis and then towards the end they show the Mosaic 8th Floor Parking lot. Instantly Recognized both places without street names or area of the location. Iykyk
This is why should watch the news
Reporter: "This is all that is left of a Forth Worth man"
Me: My God!
Reporter: "'s car."
Me: Oh, phew.
In New York we just use a steering wheel lock bar
I thought car manufacturers were making cars harder to steal but it seems to be the opposite.
More tech makes things have more risks
Blowing their cover smh
Best one could do is to learn how to drive a car that is equipped with a manual transmission and buy it. Car thieves do not know how to operate a car with a manual transmission and would not bother with one that is equipped as such. Best theft deterrent ever!
That just a plain dumb way of thinking car they are car guys they can reprogram your car what makes people think they can't drive a manual. I had two Camaro stolen both manual. A garage rifle kill switch and trackers are what people need.
@@0311Trucker Most if not all cannot drive a manual b/c they have never learnt or was taught to dive one. Plus one would be hard pressed to find a car equipped with a manual transmission. What makes you think that one can drive a manual? You do you and I will stick with my observations.
@@wetlandweasel "what makes you think that one can drive a manual"
>dude literally stated in their previous comment that he had TWO manual transmission Camaros stolen.
not only that, but thieves can be car enthusiasts, or own manual transmission vehicles themselves, when they're not out stealing other peoples' property. you're right that it's not as common, but that doesn't mean you're 100% safe from theft. kill switches and tracking devices (multiple if applicable) are your best bet to preventing your vehicle from getting stolen.
@@quality_contentmydude6965 Thieves are lazy that is why they are into stealing. Lazy people do not take the time to learn and figure out how to drive manual transmission cars. Plus, the number of manual transmisssioned cars are rare to almost non existent. The numbers don't lie. You will be extrremely safe to own one as no one will steal it.
a manual is not that hard to lear man and a broken transmission is probbably worth the effort.
You gotta put a gps in your car have some good friends and own firearms. Because if your gps shows it is on private property the police won't do anything you'll be on your own unless you got some friends to come locked and loaded with you.
Too drop a car off like that they have a rollback tow truck. I’d be looking into tow drivers
Good story. Police didn't do anything. My truck was never found. Oh, and Onstar is absolutely worthless. First thing they disabled.
Evidently some of these cops on the stolen car task force are in on it. Total lack of interest in recovering stolen cars in a timely manner smells fishy as hell. 15,000 stolen cars in Dallas? Just wow.
Guarantee no illegals involved lol
Air tags.😮😮
When they are done with them are they not going back to the real owners? Put an apple tracing device in your fuel tank if you detect the car stolen with in an hour you can track your car before its stripped.
