- Guys i'm so excited i finally recorded the melasma and skincare video i've been getting requests for in my DMs for YEARS! I'm taking you guys along to my 1st stop after any vacay or long trip, Dr. Simon Ourian at the Epione Center in Beverly Hills. Dr. Ourian's been treating my melasma with Cool Laser for years, and if you don't know what 'melasma' is... I'm jealous of you, but also you're about to learn it in detail. Then I stopped by my long time friend and dermatologist to the stars (Jessica Alba, Shay Mitchell, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name a few) Shani Darden's clinic in West Hollywood to do what the cool kids have been doing... get a facial. I asked both of them all the burning questions I had so get ready to take some notes!!

I want to get a laser treatment from him so bad! The results are so amazing! I havr some sun spots because I never wore sunscreen. Im so happy to know something can be done. I like that he did the lips aswell.

Justell Marcus cysts aren’t small. They are huge pustules that have anywhere from 2 to 4 holes once it decides to pop.

So happy you let Shani take care of your blackheads, I have 2 daughters with oily skin and we all get blackheads too but I feel like now that I’m 41 my skin feels dry and I have those dreaded dark spots 😩 so I’m trying to think sunscreen is like water you need it to survive. I had to laugh when you said you didn’t wash 🧼 your face in the morning and Shani ‘s look 😂. I learned a lot from this 😊

My top two skin care issue got to be
- Acne Blemishes/dark stubborn spots over my face 😫 tried everything available in India but nothings works.
- Bumps over my face which sometimes turn into white heads but most times they just remain stubborn bumps 😧
🧼 so excited to watch! have been dying to get out to the west coast to see Dr Ourian!!!! I’m 56 and take very good care of my skin but aging is not easy ... my concerns are loss of elasticity or sagging. Please help!

I don't have the soap emoji 🤷♀️ I too have melasma. That and textured skin (closed comedones, large pores) are my biggest skin issues. Also, you are so right about having oily skin when you're younger. I have so many less wrinkles than my friends who had dryer skin.

2) What is recommended for skin that has suffered through teenage acne and now has acne scars, discoloration, and dryness?
3) Any products that are over the counter for age 30 skin/can also hydrate?

I have melasma on my upper lip and cheeks. I have tried everything, just wont go away. I live in New Zealand, sadly cool laser therapy is not done here. Thanks for the video it was funny and informative. You are soooo real. Skin looked fab after the facial. Have a great day.

Single mama here with a beer budget. If there was ONE suggestion / treatment to spend my money on- what would it be??? I have such horrific melasma, I have to wear full coverage + full concealer on my cheeks to cover it up :( I cant go out without makeup it's so bad. Thanks for this informative video. When I turned 31 I got melasma so bad. I had two huge blotches on my cheeks but then it went away at 32 and so far hasn’t come back! Anyway long story short there’s a chance it’ll just go away for you Jen!

Also for my melasma I went off the pill and got the nexplanon instead (does not contain estrogen) and I think that made a huge difference!

Whiteheads and bumps!! I’ve always had problem skin and I’ve controlled my breakouts but the little bumps won’t stop popping up. I do a monthly facial but it would be to expensive for me to go more than once so I’m hoping there are products that can help 😭🧼🧼🧼

🧼 I have Parry Romberg syndrome coupled with Alopecia Areata. Which has basically affected the entire right side of my face. I’m missing half of my eyebrow, an MJ nose, have hyperpigmentation from my forehead down to about mid neck. If it weren’t for that, I feel like my skin problem would be blackheads and the occasional pimple.
