My favorite episode of the series. Love when the cleaning woman warns Kate against trading a silk purse for a sow's ear. Was the first time I'd heard that expression. I like the fact that Annie can do almost anything. Parents should make their children learn as much as possible. Women need to learn to stay in the workforce because anything can happen in life. I had a teacher in junior high school tell us to learn how to do something before you get married.
All kids should graduate HS with the ability to cook a few basic meals from scratch; fix a button or repair a hem; put air in a tire or change a flat; know where to turn off main water and electric supplies; how to unclog a drain and toilet.
