This was the first time that i heard/seen someone talk about overlaying the nail with the nail glue/gel!! I've always overlayed it with builder gel (AIMELLI and I recently got Beetles builder gel) and it lasted a bit longer but still had a bunch of lifting (especially the recent set that was done Saturday and started coming off on Mondayish). I'm also going to try the Fzanest peel off base coat to try to help my nails !☺
I love overlaying with gel! 🥰 I used to have lifting problems too but I learned to seal my cuticles and took more consideration into my cuticle care. & please lmk how the Fzanest peel off base is 💕

i've been seeing people apply their gel x nails with a gap below their cuticles like you do too, i think it's a good idea cause its so hard to get a seamless finish like that, I love it, I'll try it next time! I aso want to find a peel off base coat too but I don't know if I want to spend that much on the jello jello one ;__;
Yes! Doing gelx this way is a game changer! 💛 & I feel you, the Jello Peel off base is very pricey, including shipping. 🥺 I kept contemplating whether to buy it or not hehe but it's so worth it. I've heard the Fzanest peel off base on Amazon is a dupe for it. I haven't tried it myself but I'll try it out once my Jello peel off base runs out.
