You brought tears to my eyes talking about your Mom. I just wanted to give you a hug. I Iove what you did. Beautiful.
Thank you Kathy! She is something special...and means the world. I receive that hug 😆 So glad you liked it
Wow! The hot glue mold trick. Love it and the aging process. Thank you. So beautiful!
Hehehehe its a good trick for sure! So glad you liked it thank you
Very beautiful piece! Agreed that the tools you use are an investment. Loved the glue gun mold trick!

My mom passed in 1999 and I still get emotional with missing her. Love your renovation. Beautiful!
I'm so sorry Kimmie thank you for sharing that and I can completely understand.
An honor to meet your,Mum thru this yellow treasure,Sarah. Thank you for my first visit to see how you did this piece. Staged well, too.
Oh wow Nancy...you made me cry! Such a beautiful response to this piece...thank you for that ♥️
@@VintageAndPainted cry from relief you accomplished the event and that your Mum will see it,hopefully.
I thought you had gone crazy when you were using hot glue! I didn’t hear you explain what you were doing so I went from thinking you had lost your mind to thinking you are a genius when you pulled it off and it was a perfect mold! Great work!

This yellow buffet makes me smile 😊
Ah I'm so glad, me too.
Just so you know: You look great. You do not look tired.
You may not be able to see your Mom, but be grateful you can call her. I lost my mom three years ago, and would be in sheer bliss to just chat with her. It will never replace a hug and face to face, but know you are still blessed to have parents still living.
Your projects are always great. Love the little corner mold trick. That is genius. End product is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
When decoupage get, a Breyer works wonders to adhere the paper. The decoupaged looks great!
Oh Therese I'm so sorry! Thank you for sharing that about your mum. I do cherish every conversation and pray that I get to hug her again soon.
You shared so much...love the tip thank you will add it to my list. Glad you liked it

Thanks to the 100 challenge, I discovered your channel. There are so many talented people who participated, but I have to say, your attention to detail is second to none! I was hooked from the beginning as soon as I saw how passionate you are about everything you mention in the video. I always try to include items that remind me of my grandmother when I stage furniture pieces. New Subscriber! Can't wait to watch your other videos. Mad City Modern (Madison, Wisconsin)

It sure was and she loved it ☺️

Lucky for me your channel popped up on my to watch feed. Have subscribed and looking forward to viewing more of your lovely work. Well done. 👍👍
Hey there - welcome I’m so glad it popped up too! 😆 happy to have you on this journey.
Sarah so bummed that I missed the premiere. I absolutely love the yellow and the rice paper that you chose and it was a perfect addition to the piece. What an awesome collab to be part of and I'm looking forward to watching all of the other videos on the list! You are such a trooper when you worked with a flashlight when the power went off that would have been something that would happen to me 😂 Great job and I bet your momma thinks it's as stunning as I do❤️
Oh Sarah that is bloody gorgeous!!! 😻😻😻😻
Ah Di...thanks lovely!
That turned out beautiful! Very well done.
Thank you very much!
Very pretty yellow. You did a great job.
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! The hot glue mold trick is new to me and it ROCKS!!! Haha 😂 I will for sure be trying that one out. You are a hard working trooper to be out in the garage, holding your phone with the flashlight on to see, because the power was out! That is dedication. Well done. 👏 👏 👏
I'm so glad you think so! That trick is SO helpful. I have used it a few times now and honestly I'm surprised each time when it works 😆 thank you
It turned out beautiful 💛 I love the yellow mix and the top looks amazing. The dark wax & the rice paper were the perfect added touch.
Yay! Thank you so glad you think so.
I know how frustrating it can be, but the top turned out great! The whole piece is beautiful! Daisy is my favorite color too! Good job girl! 😁
Well thank you on all accounts 😆
I had to subscribe once I heard you talk. Your mom has to miss you too. Your video made me smile. What a beautiful piece you created.
Well hey and welcome so glad you liked the piece and so happy to have you along on this journey 😊
She does…we talk every week which is good for my soul but not the same as in person.
priming with no power like a total badass!
Hot glue trick was absolutely brilliant!
well thanks Clara hehehe
Its totally my favourite
Hi Sarah, beautiful piece of furniture, love the colour. Hope this covid virus is over soon so you can catch up with family.
Me too! and Thanks so glad you loved it
Mix Elmer's glu with 1/2 to 3/4 water,that's what I use.Have decoupage that's held up beautifully for years.😉
Great tip! Thank you. What I found frustrating I guess was the wetness of the mod podge and when you try to get rid of the bubbles it would tear the paper 🙄 The spray seemed to have less bubbles and wasn't as wet!
Oh Sarah you brought tears to my eyes. I love you
Sorry...it totally took me by surprise but not really either...just love her to bits. Thank you x
I learn so much from you Sarah x
Thx lovely x
That dresser looks like a happy, homey memory on legs. Your mum is going to love that thinking of her has inspired it. I agree with your dad that good brushes are worth every penny. Plus if you spend on them you will take care of them and keep the disposable brushes you'd otherwise be throwing away all the time out of the skip and wherever they end up after. I hope you get to visit with them both soon. Best wishes from Florida. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Subscribed!
Ok that was the most awesome description! I love that, happy, homey memory on legs! Thank you that made me smile. Thanks Florida! love that you've subscribed and I'll see you next week 😉
I am so in love with this piece. Beautiful. The hot glue threw me for a loop, I had no idea why you were doing that, but you no your stuff, go job.!
Ahhh thanks. This is one of my faves to mostly bc mum was my inspo 😍
This is so beautiful ❤️
Thank you
Absolutely stunning Sarah! The color is beautiful and the top turned out great 🙌😊
Ah thanks guys...glad you liked it
Lovely job but you shouldn't push yourself when you're tired, as you did. I'm sending you a big hug from London, UK and hope you get to see your parents soon who will give you an even bigger one x.
So true - I definitely am guilty of that and appreciate the reminder to take it easy. I appreciate the hug and receive it, thank you.
It turned out perfectly! 😊You had me tearing up as well…hope you get to see them soon! 💖
Ahhh thanks Darlene sadly haven’t seen them yet but hopefully 🤞🏻this Christmas 😍
I Just love the dresser it is so pretty I have been binge watching you for quite a while anything I can find that you’ve done I’ll just have to look at. Blessings Ozarksflipper

Great Job 👏 ❤️ the Colour
I haven’t actually seen that method with the Hot glue gun !
What a great idea 👍
thank you! its a really good little trick to have up my sleeve 😆 glad you enjoyed it!
I am glad the UA-cam algorithm added you to my list. New subbie. When doing a challenge I am surprised the price of brushes and sponge applicators are included but not electric sanders, screwdrivers or skill/table saws. In addition to making hot glue molds for repairs I also make molds of various trim pieces for future projects. (I keep the hot glue mold and a Bondo repop in a zip-top bag. I was admiring the carved piece on the front wooden legs.) I admire your dedication, painting in spite of a power outage. I look forward to viewing more of your videos.
So so beautiful
Thank you so much
Fantastic!!!!!!
Glad you like it!
This my favorite so far. Congrats to you. Just lovely🤩

Welcome and hey 👋 so glad to have you along on this journey!
Brilliant!
Thanks
On my 4th challenge video....yours is the best thus far.😁😘
Well thanks Monica...made my day
I don't know if someone further down comment shared a little "tip" for lightening stain, but I've had good luck using paint thinner on a rag then rubbing it over the stain. I am the world's WORST at picking a stain color that will work well with a specific wood (it all reacts so different) so when I think I might like to use a stain, I always make sure I have paint thinner in my workshop, so I can go back over it and lighten it up a bit. You probably already know all that, but I wanted to share anyway. I love your video. I'm working on a small piece for my kitchen island that will have yellow in it. I am scared AND excited :)
I have it on my shopping list! I used to have it but ran out and haven't needed for anything but will have it on hand for next time. thanks for sharing that.
So glad you loved the video. Yes! I was totally scared and excited about the yellow also.
I was just telling andrew I wanted some yellow- this settles it. I NEED yellow!
Hahahaha that's awesome...I love yellow
Beautiful piece
Thank you very much!
amazing Sarah!!
