Why don't you use stencil material (like mylar) or vinyl which can (better) be used again and again? Is it just the point of using less plastic? Or more the factor of rudimentar focus?
It's just that Paper and Tape is easy to find and Cheaper, so that Beginners can learn to Silkscreen print with minimal expenses.....but there's nothing wrong in using mylar or vinyl specially in mass Printing....and thanks....:)

You can look for Design that look like a Splash of Ink, then Create a Screen Stencil for it...and print it on t-shirt....

U make this look so simple. I failed twice already. What type of shirts do u use. I think the ones I use are too soft. Paint goes thru. Can u give me any pointers????? Thanks
Use Soft Platen, somehow the Cushion on Soft Platen Prevents the Ink to go through the T-shirts.....or you can put Paper (News paper) inside the T-shirts so that the Paint will not go through the Back part of the T-shirts.....

If it's water based paint won't it simply come off in the wash?
Water based textile paints are durable....some brands are more durable than Plastisol paints....
Hi sir... Wla aqng idea sa mga paints and all.. Pero parang gusto q itry... Ilang minutes po ba para matuyo yung paint sa shirt? Tapos ilng minutes ang gap kung papatngan ng another color? After ilang hours bago pwede iwash test..? Sabi kasi nung iba 1,2,3 days bago matuyo...
pag mainit ang panahon 30 to 60 minutes tuyo na din kaagad ang paintlalo na kung paaarawan mo, then pwede nang patungan agad ng 2nd color...yung wash test as Soon as natuyo, kung gusto mo makasigurado i-hair Blower mo or Ipaarawan mo pwede mo na I-wash test...no need to wait for 2 or 3 days....

Sir pano yung pinaglalagay nyo sa gitna ng shirt..bakit hindi tumatagos yung pintura?
pag makapal ang t-shirts kahit wala nang palaman ang t-shirts...nakakatulong din ang shirt pad na di tumagos ang paint dahil malambot ito at napi-prevent and pagtagos ng paint....pero pag HARD ang PAD o ang Surface na pinag-tatatakan mo siguradong tatagos ang paint....

Kalimitan ko pong ginagamit na Emulsion ay Screen Art, JnJ Virgo at Tulco....Sa Sensitizer Tulco po....
Idol, para maging opaque ba dapat mas lamang sa portion si Wetlook kesa kay superwhite?
Usually ganoon po ang Mix, pero pag LIGHT COLORS pwede rin na mas Maraming Superwhite....
Kung black shirt po tatatakan ko. Puti po ang ink. Mas lamang pa din po si wetlook? Kesa kay super white?

Sir, ask ko lng. Bakit po kaya ung screen stencil ko ung pinaka layout na design ko zigzag. San po kaya problem. Sa negative or paglagay ng emulsion 😟
Usually nangyayari yung pag sobrang kapal ng Emulsion....pwede rin sa Emulsion at Sensitizer na Gamit, pag hindi kasi Tulco Sensitizer ang gamit ko madalas mangyari yung ganyan -hindi clear ang Design....
