The Incredible Shrinking Mill Optical Illusion

Common sense tells us that when we get closer to a building, then the building appears larger in our Point Of View. The angular size should increase, but this is not 100% true, sometimes the building magically shrinks in size, like Alice taking the Drink Me potion and shrinking in size.

Yes, the building Does indeed appear to shrink because it was artificially enlarged due to conditions of the air. That building however is not a loomed up image beyond the physical obstruction of a sphere Earth because that's not possible.
