It depends if you just want to catch the robot and guide it to the base (short cable) - or use the cable to sende off the robot to different zones in the garden (long cable). If you use zones you can program the robot to move a certain length out following the cable before it starts to cut the grass and run its cycle 😉
@@kristianhansen6114 thanks for the reply. Could you explain to me how the clockwise/anticlockwise thing works? If I pick anticlockwise, does that mean the robot will back out of the charging station and then go forward by the wire that goes into the black terminal?

Whats the total length of the guide wire here? THe manual says it cant be less than 50m but this surely isnt 50m.
