No replacement for Ian Carmichael, he was wonderful. Love to watch anything he's in. Love all unaltered music from 1946 and prior, before they changed the resonance to make it less healthy for humans. Very important to listen to the older music exclusively.
Many thanks for uploading this. I'm old enough to remember Ian Carmichael as Wooster and the inimitable Dennis Price as Jeeves. They were on tv at the same time as my introduction to the books in my school library, can't help thinking that there aren't too many ten year olds now who would understand the dialogue or the scene.
Ian's voice is like liquid honey isn't it.. And what a delightful singing voice too.. *Sheer bliss*

Ian Carmichael - so lovely to listen to.
What a delightful half hour. Thanks, JS. So nice to hear the inimitable Bobby Short sing Geo. Gershwin's Oh Gee! -- Oh Joy! at 14:03 Cheers.
Ian carmichael has a wonderful voice to listen to ❤ 👍

This was fun to listen to, thanks!
And thank you too.
What a great story. Cleopatra song was fun. Wodehouse was a likable chappy. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, brings back such great memories!
Thank for this, it was a delight to listen to. Do you know when it was broadcast? I couldn't locate it on the BBC's Genome.
Got it, by changing the criteria of the search.

A little surprised IC does not pronounce “Featherstonehaugh” as “Fenshaw”
