RIP to Betty White to all the people on that list and the good people who weren’t on the list because they weren’t famous but still have love ones that will miss them
I think they did mention it on the special report after they heard.
I hope it wasn’t because no one wished her Merry Christmas after she turned 93😢

It’s cause she died so close to this videos release they simply did not have time. But yes we are all devastated by her loss

Silence for peace than loudness, quietness of fear, not hopeless, for time and effort are equally unbiased. We are more than the stories we're told, we're the one's we write, each page unfold. We are the sum of our Lies and truth, fantasy, fiction, faith, and myths, no matter how uncouth. These are what shape us, our lives lived is the proof. We can be more right than wrong. More just than judge. More godlike than unlike. Reflecting Sunlight in our darkest night.
Providing refuge. Never more alive until we die within and begin again. A Human Ark Divine in our human spark.

I had a friend named Armando Lemus who died in 2021. He was an old friend of my dad's back in Mexico and we were all invited to his wedding. Two years after he died due to being affected by COVID-19. He left us physically, but he won't leave us socially. He's been a very good friend to us forever.
So sorry for your loss. It sounds like he meant a lot to you and many others.

I am sad to see Celebrities die, but I am also sad for the loss off Nurses, Teachers, Doctors, all the Hospital workers and my condolences to all Families. I am going through grief myself and it is paralyzing.

This listing is hard because so many people we loved have gone away, and so many on the list represented the "everyday person" to the public. We were their fans because they "were" us ... So in a way it highlights the greater loss of those essential people we have lost this past year.

I love the way this was put together. Can't believe so many died within one year, many being great actors.
Betty White made us laugh for so many years but she had the last laugh in the end, leaving us on 12/31, when we least expected it. RIP to a lovely lady.

This was a beautiful tribute to all these people who we've come to know through fame and the media. There's a deep sadness here to realize these people are no longer with us even though we're bound to see them again in the images they left behind. While watching this, however, I couldn't help but think that for all their fame and contributions and lives fully lived, they were still, after all, human beings. There's a time limit to life and each moment is precious. If we can give something meaningful to the world before we leave it, we live on in someone's memory.

My dad was a WWF fan in 1990 - 2004, and to see "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff recently passed away was very sad for him 😢

I've been dealing with horrid health issues this year, trying to help my Gran with her grief mourning my Grandpa, trying to help my Momma with her grief mourning my Daddy & her Dad while trying to deal with my own from a bed in a nursing home cause I'm paralyzed & need special care. So, I didn't realize that some of the people that I loved as musicians, actors, writers, and athletes had passed away. Besides the real big ones that made big news.

@@dannythomas417 Oh, yes. I guess it was the "main actor" line that threw me. I never considered her as one of the main leading actors but more in a support role. I think people like Ed Asner, Ted Knight and Gavin McLeod were the "main" actors in the show.

@@dannythomas417 Well, I don't know about THAT. Gavin McLeod was in bad health and had been fully retired since around 2013 as was Mary Tyler Moore (she was blind from her diabetes). Ted Knight had to leave his show 'Too Close For Comfort" a year before he died due to his cancer spreading.
But Ed Asner and Betty White did continue to work right up until the end. While Betty did limit her appearances due to Covid, Asner was working on some kind of theater project when he died.
Spectacular production! So well done on editing it's brilliant. It's one of those vids you want to watch and watch again. I'm definitely sharing it. Thank you for this - not only the beauty of it but how nicely it reminds us of who we lost and their significance in our lives and that impact is now a void on the planet.

Yeah, they should've had had someone quickly add Betty to the MTM cast part, or her at the end. Or even put her pic up on the screen behind the anchor closing the show at the end. Some years ago, USA Today or some media group did a year end salute to those who had died in the last few days of the years, over a decade or more, who died too late to be included in their year end Memoriums. Just remember thinking, wow, that's a lot of people! And it was nice to give them their overlooked moment.
Calm yourself down bruh! If you actually watch the NBC Nightly News every night, you'd know that this aired on December 30th and Betty White died on December 31st. In other words, she wouldn't die until AFTER this aired.
