I had oral sores and they would always come up in the winter or when my face was really dry. I stopped drinking soda for many reasons but after I stopped drinking caffeine. I hadn’t had an outbreak in over 10 years.

Same and if the tingle comes back in winter, slamming it with vitamin c and medicinal mushrooms like reishi and maitake, etc prevent it from even going past the tingle.
I take vitamin c if I feel I’m getting a cold because sometimes I guess that weakens my immune system enough to get an outbreak but I haven’t had an outbreak in years an I’ve also haven’t gotten sick after recovering from COVID (or what I believed to be COVID in 2020)

@@WarpedBlinds why? You can catch many types of herpes outside of sexual contact. With the mouth kind it can be as simple as drinking after someone with it.
@@breezemansker3366 Again, herpes is highly contagious, while cancer is not. Comparing the two is like apples to oranges. Those with herpes should know the risks they bring to those around them. Of course you can live happily ever after, but to pretend it's nothing but a skin condition is downplaying what they have.
Ya know I don’t have any sort of herpes but I’ve heard people explain how cold sores start with a tingle and I SWEAR I can feel exactly what it feels like thought I’ve never actually felt it.
You could very well have it with very mild symptoms
I get cold sores and feel the tingle, hold my finger down on it, and they dont appear. I swear cold sores arent as contagious as people pretend because Ive shared drinks and cigarettes and nothing happened. Nothing to be ashamed about
@@TheInevitableClyphe You should at least tell people you have it before you share drinks and such. Better safe than sorry
@@mangoesfly1594 I should say I mean when I dont have an active cold sore. I would never do that with an active one.
@@TheInevitableClyphe Same here. As a kid I always thought you needed a cold sore to transmit the virus, but I've heard otherwise. Not sure what to believe lol
And he hasn't had an outbreak in such a long time. Leave him alone.
STOP normalizing an STI that shit is not safe sex 😂 y’all slow and DIRTY AS HELL 🤢🤮🤮
Part of me feels like it’s lowkey messed up for them to keep mentioning it before he was like accepting of it. But also I’m sure they’d edit it out if he wasn’t okay with that and have went over it beforehand.
This whole video is hilarious my mother has the exact same situation as links mom but has always been tight lipped about it...
For a while I never knew if it was a joke or not but the amount of times Rhett & the staff shares food w/him made me think it really is just them playing around.
It’s only contagious if you have an outbreak.
did u not see the hugeeeee blister on his lip at 00:58 lol thats defo herpes simplex lip variant
Idk why but this is wholesome
12:56 i am fucking screaming over the ice cream montage
The minion hell
Oh my God I love link didn’t even know this. Link has always been a good sport with everything so there’s no surprise that he’s open about this and stopping the stigma because it is very very common think one out of three people.
I like how he is open about it and he isn’t hiding it, damn I feel bad for him he a cool dude
9:49. Yep, combined with a cold,
= flare almost every damned time.
That ice cream edit was great
10:14
man I think Link genuinely fell in love 🤣
I’ve been watching since 2013 and for some reason I never knew Link had herpes! I’ve seen a lot of these clips, but I guess I just thought they were joking or forgot about them altogether lol. It’s great he’s open about it and they talk about it in such a light hearted way 💕
You: Links herpes
Me: Does not click. I don't want that virus on my pc.
i’ve been watching gmm for years and this is how i found out abt links herpes, how interesting, that’s awesome he’s so cool about it
I wish sexual education was more thorough and helped lessen stigma. I understand laughing to lessen the stigma, but many of these comments to him are actually horrible and just rude. People who have herpes aren't nasty or perverted or trashy. Herpes is just a skin condition at the end of the day.
Yeah, idk the need to clarify that it's not genital herpes feels like they're shaming those who do have genital herpes. And in turn any STIs tbh😕
It’s almost like they’re joking with one of their best friends or something…
im taking a medical terminology class and im taking notes on the digestive system, and i took a break, came back to the part of the video where link says “the preferred nomenclature is fever blisters” and the next term I had to study in my textbook was “Cold sores, also known as herpes labialis or fever blisters”, I had to comment bc im so weirded out…
Every time I get a canker sore, I immediately get reminded of Link and his herpes outbreak. 😔
You know canker sores are unrelated though, right?
Canker sores aren't herpes they're just mouth sores unrelated to it
“I KNOW BUT ITS LYING DORMANT 🤨🤨🤨🤨😣”
the ice cream part lmaooo
I get fever blisters a lot. I didn’t know it was herpes into recently lol.
I havent seen a video like this yet, well done!
It was a sad realization realizing that not everyone gets fever blisters and that you do because you have herpes :(
I had oral sores and they would always come up in the winter or when my face was really dry. I stopped drinking soda for many reasons but after I stopped drinking caffeine. I hadn’t had an outbreak in over 10 years.
I stopped eating nuts and other arginine-rich foods, and I rarely ever get them. When I do, I take a bunch of Lysine (probably too much) and the sore goes away in 2-3 days.
@@mangoesfly1594 that’s what i heard too. If I get a sore I apply some Zane Hellas oregano oil with some coconut oil and it goes away in a day or 2. Burns those fuckers off so quick. This was in the past though, not sure if that contributed to the recession of outbreaks or not.
Same and if the tingle comes back in winter, slamming it with vitamin c and medicinal mushrooms like reishi and maitake, etc prevent it from even going past the tingle.
@@mangoesfly1594 I can't remember the last time I had one. I attribute that to the lysine I take daily.
(Still knocks on wood)
I take vitamin c if I feel I’m getting a cold because sometimes I guess that weakens my immune system enough to get an outbreak but I haven’t had an outbreak in years an I’ve also haven’t gotten sick after recovering from COVID (or what I believed to be COVID in 2020)
Uh ohhh someone's gotta go to urgent care.... 😂😂😂
This was so good I can’t
10:51
I'm screaming 😂😂😂
"LINK: I have Herpes, 2nd guy: I have herpes too," Lets talk about that 😅
I miss the old GMM so much...
FELLAS, *MR OBALAR* ON UA-cam CURED ME TOTALLY❤🇺🇸❤..
I love your videos so much
Link in Juggalo make up is horrifying
S tier journy
facts!! 😂
Was I the only one who didn’t know about this?
Same
I didn't either.
No, same! I can't believe I didn't know when I've seen so many of their videos.
What about a compilation of the “link is bad with knives” joke!
cold sores suck! i have them and my older sister would get suuuuuch bad outbreaks. luckily my bf seems immune and my son so far
bruh
I got a herpies treatment add on this video
FELLAS, *MR OBALAR* ON UA-cam CURED ME TOTALLY❤🇺🇸❤..
The fact that’s it’s been mentioned enough times for 15 mins of footage 😭😂
If either absolutely had to get herpes, my money never would have been on Link!
Rhett’s alleged psychic abilities scare me, like when he guessed that number correctly in the Red Bull episode.
whoever named this illness herpes did y’all dirty…idk what it is about the word herpes but it sounds…nasty 😅😂
I love link though, he’s such a cutie 💗
I feel bad they put it so on blast
Link was probably born with it sense he said his mother and grandma has it.
To be fair link has kissed Rhett a few times lol.
So how do you go about making a video like this? It's impressive how many clips you have
Oh no not Ned Fulmer!!
Stress brings it on. Take Llysene every day to reduce stress and block the virus from reacting. Also don’t eat peanuts or peanut butter. Say goodbye to break outs. You’re welcome.
Wth? I’ve watched this show for years and apparently never seen any of this 😂 don’t they share food all the time?
These two seem more like brothers than friends lol.
A fever blister is herpes lol Rhett just wants people to make fun of Link Shame on all of them
FELLAS, *MR OBALAR* ON UA-cam CURED ME TOTALLY❤🇺🇸❤..
I don't think all these jokes will age as well as links fortitude
Rhett does know that herpes simplex 2 is genital herpes right? Pretty sure Link has type 1. I should know because I have it too.
I was literally thinking if one of them had it the other day watching them when they share food
Nina needing gloves was kinda...not great. Was this a joke or ignorance?
It made me like..angry. For link. Like if you don’t wanna do the bit, don’t. And she only got one glove and was touching him with the ungloved hand. Smh.
@@Efmims agreed, there was no point for them at all
Way too many people are uneducated about herpes 🙄
😂it's a joke my guy
Do you think they actually don't know about the condition?
"By 98 did you mean 67?" 🤣
