I may be the only one that thinks this, but I think there should be two points up for grabs per round: one point for having the puck whose position is closest spacially and one point for having the puck whose position is closest chronologically. That is, if the answer is 1980, Rhett lands in 1890 and Link lands in 1990: 1990 is on the other side of the board and 1890 is directly beside 1980, Link would get the chronological point and Rhett would get the spacial point. If you land on the correct answer, that's two points.
But then how would Link ever win? You have to consider his feelings. He's like a younger brother, you gotta let him win every now and then or else you'll have to listen to him crying all day >:P

If I recall correctly, when going into the last round, the loser of the last game (Link) has the advantage, and since they were allowed to bump in the last round, Rhett had to go first, giving him the disadvantage.
It’s not about who won the previous round, it’s about who’s currently winning, and Rhett was still winning so he goes first. Calm down there buddy. It’s not that serious.

The win here felt kinda underwhelming, doesn't seem like he should have won overall considering how perfectly the other performed in every round but I guess that's how it goes with this game.
So, Rhett guesses 3 of the 4 dates correctly and places his puck correctly in all 4, the 4th he still won from a non bump set, yet Link wins as he didn't guess a single one right and just wildly bumps Rhett from play. Seems fair.
Link gets little sibling rules, cause if you just go up ten on your little sibling they’ll throw a tantrum and quit. But you still want the satisfaction of dunking on them repeatedly so you start calling self fouls as you’re posturing over their sad little bodies. Deep down, you know you’re winning by 30, even if the score is close.
