Brown Sugar Jerk Salmon
Ingredients List

500g salmon
1 tsp brown sugar
1 -2 tbsp jerk seasoning (more or less to preference)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp seafood and fish seasoning
2 tbsp butter
Always taste and adjust seasonings as my recipe acts only as a guide. Individual tastebuds are different and substitutions can be made throughout.) Terri

Girl!!!!!! I tried this brown sugar jerk salmon on a bed of Tuscan Kale, with roasted potatoes and chickpeas with a slice of avocado( it’s the Trini in me) Huni!!!!!!! I said “I’m quitting my job” lmbo joking!! But it was definitely off the chain babe. Thank you so much.

Terri-Anne I made this dish for my family last week and everyone LOVED it! I added about 1/4 tbsp of Grace Foods Jamaican Dried Jerk Seasoning to the marinade for extra spice (heat) and served the filets over garlic mashed potatoes. My only complaint is that I only made enough for that evening. This was pure deliciousness!!!!

I made this for my wife this evening. I used Idahoan packet mash, and I paired it with microwaved soya beans, anointed with butter, chilli flakes, garlic granules , and Old Bay. It was the best mid-week meal I've had for an age. Make it for someone you love! Terri Ann, you are a goddess. 🙏🏽

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL RECOMMENDATION FROM THE NORWAY'S MINISTER OF HEALTH, A COUNTRY THAT PRODUCE MORE SALMON IN THE WORLD. And by the way, when cooking with aluminium, please tell people that it's DANGEROUS TO COOK WITH IT BECAUSE SOME FOOD OR INGREDIENTS CONTAINING SOME ACIDITY CAN DISOLVE IT AND MIX IT WITH THE FOOD.
I was saying the same thing😊 it's a lovely meal when you can't be bothering with any big cooking on a Sunday.
That's not an aluminum pot its a cast iron pot. All fish especially tuna have a vast amount of aluminum. All food should be eaten in moderation.

Thank you for the idea cuz my wife and I would have never thought to use the jerk seasoning on salmon.. All I had, though, was Jamaican jerk seasoning from our local supermarket and brown sugar. It still turned out just fine. I look forward to trying out your other recipes. Thanks again and God bless!
