Carina is a special singer. She has lots of solo stuff going back over 10 years, but has been in Puscifer pretty much exclusively for quite some time. She is the perfect complement to Maynard. You should check out “Autumn”. I think the harmonies on that one are some of the best they have.
This is an album they released in November 2022. It’s live in studio versions of songs from their early EP’s. They are all rethought and sound quite different than the original versions. But it’s a beautiful album. They have released live versions of all their albums, and have also done remix versions of them as well. They have lots of material to choose from. Maynard has a very underrated voice. He is very smooth and soothing to listen to. Even with Tool I find him very easy to listen to and his melodies are always unique and interesting to hear.
Been a Tool fan since 93 and to be honest I listen to Puscifer more than Tool and A Perfect combined. They just resonate with me. Check out Telling Ghosts and Green Valley
Whenever I'm hearing something very different and specific to a band like Pucifer, I look at Anthony and realize we are hearing the same brilliance. I love that you aren't afraid to show the emotional impact a song like this can have on certain people. I have loved Maynard for many many years. But because of your interest in more than just Tool and APC, great bands imo, you have shown me things I haven't seen or heard before from this band. Thank you once again for your honesty and understanding that beauty can be found in places where it might seem unexpected 💜
Puscifer is so different! I love how experimental they are. You should also check out Maynard's other band, A Perfect Circle. It's very different than Tool or Puscifer. The older stuff is more raw and grungy. I would suggest one of the two live performances on Jay Leno (the tonight show), The Outsider and/or 3 Libras. A Perfect Circle's album, The Thirteenth Step, is one of my all time favorite albums.

❤ It seems like there were references to analog vs. digital, and I think you are right about the E.M.P. being electromagnetic pulse. Maybe the lyrics are about getting back to basics, enjoying the simple things in life. "Indigo Children" are said to be children that are innately more empathetic than most, or born with special psychic powers or something. Obviously that is more of a spiritual belief than scientific fact, but I think what they are trying to convey is that we need to connect more with that empathetic and childlike/ innocent aspect of our humanity. Disconnect from the digital and connect with each other in person, while drinking wine and dancing around a fire in the forest. Essentially, get off your phone and go touch some grass ffs. LOL

Born to sing with him!
Juliette Commagere as well I believe

Puscifer have sooooo many great songs! 🤩
Incredibly diverse discography too, it's awesome!

me too. I had my phases. First all Tool, then a lot of APC and now the most Puscifer.
Same here! Started with Tool, then A Perfect Circle, but Puscifer really captured my musical heart. I absolutely love Puscifer!
I agree, Puscifer is definitely underrated. You should check out their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody!

Them being overrated is a blessing. Seeing them in a smaller venue than an arena makes this band even more amazing live
Oh I bet!
Horizons is my favorite Puscifer song, hopefully you do that one soon.
Really awesome harmonies! One of the newer bands on my radar ❤
Puscifer is Pure Special Sauce.
So glad you did a Puscifer reaction! I am a long time lover of their music. Such fantastic stuff!
Puscifer is a brilliant band, chocked full of masterpieces!
Holy eye opening.
Analog type piece sky wide= circadian rhythms need in sync
I got this shit now. So glad you did this one!

Maynard has a third band called A Perfect Circle.
Hey brother I love the verse on the new collab! Great show
I'm with you on Puscifer. It's great.

The Outsider is my favorite 😍
Please check out Carina Round’s solo work! Set Fire and Backseat are my favorite, but all of her work is fantastic. Her live videos are great too.
FYI, there's like six different versions of this song
If you like Carinas vocals you should react to Carina Round - motel 74 live version. She shows a lot of different sides
The female vocals are fire 🔥
Are you gonna check out the band The Warning? The song Evolve they performed at the MTV VMAs is a good one to start with.
