My dad used to follow Willie around back in the day when he toured southern Ontario where he was originally from. One night in a bar down in Port Dover will he pulled my dad and another friend into the back room and played this whole album for him. It’s one of his greatest memories and what made me fall in love with Willy P Bennett.
I've seen Willie perform several times and this was the only song I ever saw him do live on his own. I love his songs, this one gives me comforting chills... Thanks
oh hey jim.... i'm always seeing your notes on facebook. and again, my girl and I are in Victoria bearing winter.. kinda hard times we are having but hanging in strongly and hopeful. Wish you Merry Christmas!

Next you'll be telling me Renaissance was written by Valdy and not David Bradstreet. Joke. Correction gratefully received. Love both versions anyway.
