- Hey, Welcome back to another van video!
I just spent the last 3 weeks exploring the stunning Scotland!
In this video I take you along the famous NC500 route, through all the ups, and the downs, the vast landscapes and amazing rugged mountains!
Before going on this trip I was told about how beautiful the route was but it surpassed my expectations by far, the camera truly doesn't do it justice.
I hope you enjoy!
Amelie

Great video thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you! :D
Great video Amelie, brilliant seeing the fish jumping. We're you printing out a picture on the beach? That's mad. Take care and stay safe
Thank you! Yess I was using an HP sprocket, it's a similar idea to an instax camera but you can just print things straight from your phone :D
@@AmelieFilby still say its mad 😀
Such a lovely video, you really, captured the beauty of Scotland, can I ask how you plan or find the places you park for the night? Are these designated places? Thanks
Thank you so much, that means a lot! I usually use the app Park 4 Night or I go onto google maps and look for lay-bys etc if there's nothing nearby on the app!
Recovering from a nasty break up but your videos fill me with excitement for the future! I'm getting a tentbox soon and I can't wait to hit the road. How do you find being solo on your adventures? Does it ever get abit lonely?
Very cool!
Thank you!
Love your videos
Thank you!! :D
I've just discovered your videos and have been watching avidly as i've just bought a swb connect to do up as a micro camper. I love that you know your way around the hand tools and you just get on with it. Have you been warm enough in your camper or do you have some form of heating?
Thank you so much! It can get a bit too cold sometimes but never super unbearable, I usually just layer on lots of jumpers, socks and blankets! I'm definitely considering installing a heater in the future though. Good luck on your own build!
@@AmelieFilby thank you. All the best :)
De bien beaux paysages !
Thank you for the inspiration, I am doing the NC500 at the end of this month. It’s cool to see where you have been and get ideas of where to stay. Like you I have bought a Ford Transit Connect to do it in. Do you have any cool recommendations to add to my route. I’m going clockwise and doing Skye first.
I'm glad you liked it! Honestly it was all so amazing but one thing I'd definitely recommend is the Bone Caves (just north of Ullapool). I feel like it's not talked about enough when people talk about the NC500, it was seriously so cool!
Amelie Filby awesome thank you :)
