Yathra Weaving Program in Paro 2023

The Yathra Weaving Program was commenced on 16th October, 2023 at the Wangsel Institute for the Deaf, Paro. This training program was conducted as part of the Weaving into the Future Program funded by William H. Geiger Family Foundation Inc.
24 individuals (6 male and 18 female) participated in the 14-day training course under the guidance and supervision of two expert weavers from the RTA. The program was implemented with the primary objective of helping the students become skilled, self-sufficient and improve their quality of life in the future.
