In this video, we are focusing on the artistic expression of dance, drum and song and its importance in how we honor, call upon and praise the Orishas and Ancestors and how we preserve our culture for the next generations. In all ancient spiritual traditions dancing, drumming, music, and singing have been central to how we worship the Divine.
Dr. Stines, as a priestess, dancer, choreographer, and educator, has combined her passion and love into forming and growing her dance company L’ACADCO and in so doing honors and preserves Jamaican culture and elements of Orisha devotion and praise.
