First time using the tent, and I just dont like cutting it all out to make it look like it took shorter time.

I to have a Toucan, and got to say I love it. Fantastic quality.
I used it on a camping trip last month for a couple of nights. I didn’t find a problem with the mattress, but I have to say I was on the edge of being cold during the night. I pulled my bike jacket over me and I was fine. So I think a lot depends on where and what time of year you’re doing it! September in England can be quite warm in the daytime but at night the temperature drops. I think it was about 6/7 degrees when I did it.
Of course you can get another sleeping bag but that’s obviously more money,so next year I’ll see when and where my travels take me!
Too bad they don't sell the tent without the thin "mattress/sleeping bag". I'd get an air mattress and quality sleeping bag separate and apart from the tent. Thank you for this helpful video.
You make it look so easy. Itry to put up mine right now. Very hard to do. I hope it gets better when everything is stretched a bit.
It gets better with time :) But its SUPER easy to set up when you have done it a couple of times for sure :)
I bit the bullet and just purchased this tent (or swag, which it actually is). However, I will get rid of that foam mattress. I am pretty sure if this is replaced by an inflatable mattress, it will pack down smaller. I do not care about it being retro or not, this will be strapped onto a Yamaha Tracer anyway. However, I hope it will do its job well, as advertised. I will try to mount onto a cot, we will see how that works. Since we own a canvas house tent (car camping only), I really struggle with sleeping in a nylon or polyester tent. So canvas it is. I have been looking at swags for quite some time now, but the ones I like are not available here (Germany). IMO, this is a good alternative. The only thing I do not like is that you have to buy the mattress and the sleeping bag, even if you do not want it. These could very well be an option, and they could offer items for different temperature ratings. Heck, even mattresses for different body types or preferences. Now THAT would be truly luxurious.
I literally got my Toucan today and had it set up in 5 minutes in my livingroom. I watched several videos while waiting for it to arrive.

I'm buying one to try it out, going to add a better mattress and sleeping bag. Already own that so no extra cost. Going to bring a Rab Siltarp 3 to add exterior space, this is more useful than having a large sleeping area for one person.
It's a nice tent, packs really big for the size tho.
I think a Stormbreak 3, good sleeping bag and a air pad would back smaller. Also the sleeping bag would be warmer, more room in the tent.
I'm not completely sold on the Wingman, I would still like to own one to try it out 😅 I guess the cool factor is a good selling point

I have not used it that much, but there will be more about this tent in the future. (Next year)
A friend and I will ride to Nordkapp, and I will be using the tent for that (For sleeping, not riding🤣 ). 😀

Tak. Ja der kom told på. Desværre. Pengene værd, det er faktisk svært at sige, da der findes et hav af muligheder. Men den er nem at sætte op, og det var vigtigt for mig, da jeg ikke gider bruge meget tid på det 😅
Don’t buy if you live in the US or if your buying as a gift. You won’t be able to return it period because if the 7 day return policy. Horrible.
