🤯 Good one, Parker! Amazing how much depth this trick could add to a simple 2-visual report! Thank you sharing!
Thanks Hachi! I really like what this adds as well.
Really cool trick Parker. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Cristian!
Good one, which is similar to one I used.. showing top 5 categories and others ( remaining categories).. similar technique except the stacked feature. Thanks 👍
Sounds good, Bharath! I was talking with a client who specifically needed the stacked option, but the non-stacked will probably be enough for most use cases!
Hi, is it possible to show the same comparison month over month and year over year...
Am not able to see others when am displaying it in bar visual . Any idea what could be the issue?
Great Video! Exactly what I was looking for, just to make sure what exactly is [Total Sales]? thanks
Thanks for this , really helpful. One question though. How can I show the total of the others stacked column as a single value & not seperately ?
That's very clever. I do something similar where I compare the performance of an account versus all others (exc selected account) using calculated tables.
Thanks Steve. I like the sound of your solution. Would love to see it sometime!
Reading the definitive guide to fax book at the moment. And this video is a benchmark for me if I get a full understanding of it it would be cool
Great tutorial! What can I do to provide a category in dax instead of choosing it from slicer?
how do we compare database text logs . I want to find out the difference between one to many transaction (text) logs and display on power bi
Really Amazing !!!
Keep going Parker 👍👍👍👍

Please make a video on Elapsed Attributes(time, days ,average time with different Stages .
Id/from state/to state/date& time/-->columns
1001/doc received/ doc checking/1 june 1 AM
1001/doc Checking/Doc approved/2 june 2 PM
1002/doc received/ doc checking/13 june 1 AM
like this
I need to calculate time, average time and no of days from one stage to another for each ID.
Nice exactly what needed!
Amazing exercise!!
My remark would be when you are using real data, most of the times you have dozens of categories (not 5), so it would make the cluster chart not very helpful.
My suggestion there would be to compare one category against top3 or top5 categories???...
Possible with your Dax formula??
You're very right about that. Someone made a similar comment on Twitter to which there was a reply showing how to add the Top N functionality in. Check it out here! t.co/YbqkRP0Twy?amp=1
