I love these interviews where the producers don’t constantly interrupt and allow the subject to just talk.
Seems family is key for young actors coming to intelligent terms with the business and those running it.
This is just a wealthy girl who is privileged enough to see oppression but does nothing about it
Wow, this comment section is a testament to how right she is. There is discrimination and she's being quite diplomatic about it, and not saying ALL men are like that, but SOME influential men are like that, and you just need to say "NO! I am not comfortable with a. b. or c.
Laura Berg Oh boy! A privileged white girl loves to hear herself talk! I would buy her if she actually suffered. But since she is rich and a celebrity she is allowed to speak.
@@madelinenielsen3532 She's speaking from her own experience, which is all she can do. She can't speak for anyone else. There's no comfort in comparing each other's suffering. Everyone has problems. It's how you deal with them that counts.
@Markus Patients that would never be accepted in any other job, so why do you think it should be accepted in acting industry? In fact, without the actors, the director/producer wouldn't even be able to make money. It's already a win-win situation for both. Maybe the actors will get famous after that gig, which allows them to make more money later on, but that still already benefits the producer. They wouldn't cast them in the first place if it didn't.
Problem is that people think famous/rich women can't be abused or face sexual harassment. At the same time many famous/rich women have falsely accused men the last years, witch makes things harder for the actual victims . Some influential women are like that too , but no one dares to say it cause who would believe that a men faced discrimination? That's why this comment section is like this , since some females lied now actual victims find it harder.
@@user-rc2gy5ik5n exactly.. I found it interesting the choice of words from OP.. diplomatic.. saying NOT all men..
things is, they dont think the male producers..hell, even female ones never harassed any male actors. Just the females.
The same way all these women talk about discrimination and sexual assault.. men face it and point is, when they do, people just disregard and find it funny.. remember that american idol with kate perry being extremely agressive with a contestant? sexually.. leering at the guy almost drooling?
watched some shortts on instagram... x factor, cant remember if american or british whatever.. one of the judges was an older woman, maybe over 35 and contestant was a 19 year old guy and she was all over him and stuff.. reverse the genders.. a 35+ man hitting on a 19 female... dont even need to say more, do i? harassment, predator etc
and also, amber heard and johnny depp.. also dont need to say more
I wish I had had somebody made me aware of those things and telling me that it's ok to set boundaries and say no. Instead of that, many women grow up in a religious context that tells them they are sinners for thinking about sex and don't even get proper sex education, or that if they say no they are a tease...so they are far more likely to fall victims of predators.
So many hurt men in the comment section. I hope you get well soon.
She is SO SMART & CLASSY
The business she chose is ALWAYS changing and has since the Charlie Chaplin era.
Fairbanks , Pickford, and Chaplin formed United Artists to do things differently, and independent films have evolved. Studios had actors under contracts that made them work exclusively for them. Until you get power(money) you are doing their will. Or you can object and they will just not consider you for projects. Is it fair? No.
It's good to expose that business so things become fair. Good for you CHLOE.
Why hasn’t this video and the one where she talks about being sexualized in the movie industry, gotten more views than this. This needs to be heard.
Samara Pfleger Because probably she dresses like she is asking for it. Nobody buys her arguments for sexualizing anymore. Plus she criticized Kim Kardashian for posting a nude photo but praised Shawn Mendes for doing the same thing
Madeline Nielsen in her movies or in real life?
Samara Pfleger Both. She played a prostitute and excused herself by saying it was symbolic and she dresses showing a lot of skin. She has no modesty whatsoever
Madeline Nielsen stop being such a dumb fuckhead and grow up, it's 2020. just because someone doesn't wear a whole ass bodysuit doesn't mean you can sexualize & objectify her
babie vani Stalker 🙄. Sorry not everybody loves your snow angel as much as you do
I love her! She seems so sweet and down to earth. 🙂😊
I love her too❤️
She is such a strong and independent young woman. What an awesome role model for any girl getting into acting. These interviews with Chloe should be required watching for any girl that wants to become an actress.
Good for her standing up for herself, I'm sure it didn't hurt having the brother there for support.
"Ooooooooyyyy veeeehhhhh, she's so persecuted!!" LMAO!!!!😂
Such an inspiration to young girls everywhere!
Her brother got her into acting. What a cool bro. How chill of him. If he's A great actor. She's just one of the best actresses. Proud of them both equally. ❤❤❤
Such a bad ass. I really admire her and her brothers and family.
Only 19k views (at the time of posting) something’s wrong with that.
Way to go, Chloe!
20 years?She is 22 now(does 23 in february) ."old" interview.But wonderful to listen
Thank you, Vinny! Stay tuned as we have several videos with Chloe and we will be posting her next video on Monday.

@@madelinenielsen3532 your empty threats don't intimidate me, you psychotic freak
Lady's and gentleman we got em.
Kim Pierce couldn’t possibly have portrayed Chloe’s version of Carrie more wrong. By presenting her as a typical, middle of the road (in terms of popularity) witty, outgoing... completely destroyed the iconic character in my opinion.
You never know. Could've been someone else's ideas, from the sounds of it she didn't have all the control.
Wise young girl.
She should be proud.
Imagine exposing a kids conciousness to the concept of sex and being sexualised and what that means, all before they're developed mentally ready to handle such issues. This is the reason, amongst others that so many child "stars" are screwed up.. Leave the kids to do kid shit.
BEAUTIFUL SPEECH BEAUTIFUL ACTRESS
Madeline Nielsen Someone sounds jealous 😂 You’re all over this comment section hating on this girl. Get a life.
Gillian Casto And you must be a lonely one. I have better things to worry about than pink haired trash like you
Madeline Nielsen Better things to worry about like Chloe Grace Moretz who doesn’t even know you exist? 😂 Got it.

Madeline Nielsen- your 12 year old ass isn’t gonna do anything lmao

I officially love you
😊
This comment section is disgusting. Yall are deluded if you dont think that sexual harrasment and discrimination happens to women with money and fame. Young girls are exposed to older and powerful men who through out history have been known to abuse that power.
Take a walk in your sisters, mothers, friends shoes for 1 day ! Ah you men wouldnt last a day.
I agree with you for the most part, but men don’t have it easy either. Walk in our shoes
I agree with you. All these people in the comments hating are just trolls that even when you explain the situation or give them good arguments don't seem to understand. A fucked up world we live in.
Yeah but couldn't the actresses just stay away from the powerful men wouldn't that solve the problem once you find out their evil get away from them...... or is something wrong with that?.... or you know report them to someone
That would mean leaving their jobs.
Please explain why you think its exeptable for the resposibilty to fall on the victims of this sociatal misjustice. You dont tell a child that they must avoid pedophiles..
And most men are tought that the behavour is okay. Which means 90% of the interactions that are had with men ,are usually the same and are filled with sexist comments or a general lack of respect. So if i left every situation i felt unsafe in because of a man, i would of never been in a job longer than a day. I wouldnt of got through school or even my first year at university. I would have to live in a box. In the middle of nowhere
Why should we have to live our lives in a contant state of anxiety. Wondering if by wearing certain clothes or being in a pertiular job. will i be assulted by a manager or even just a random guy who thinks he has the right to touch without concent. This also comes in verbal abuse. Being shouted at across the street, in pubs, clubs. Ect. Being called whore/ uptight for not excepting a drink or date of a stanger.
How about men in positions of power get held accountable for their actions.
I have sympathy for the pressure put on men to be 'strong and have no emotions' but do not compare it to the fear we feel on a daily bases. Walking down alleys, in an office filled with men, on trains or any public/social space.
There are a million and one things in this world that indanger and opress women.
Have a look at how many women have died due to domestic violence since lockdown.
This isnt just a problem in acting or whatever. This is a global issue that effecta billions of women.
Also if you can, ask your female friends and family what experiences they have with harrasment. I can guess they ALL have multiple stories. As a women we have to just except that being spoken to and treated like we are less than a man.
And the reason you dont here about it is becuase more often than not its brushed off ans WE are blamed.
@@minnieannewalvin I never said it was the woman's fault but at some point you have to realize that the situation isn't what you wanted to be then you need to try to get away from it or just turn them in whenever they try to do something sexual...... without consent as for the people yelling at you going down the street I can't stop that...... nor can I stop how other men act I'm sorry for all the adversity you had to put up with.... but more to the point would you stay in a job where you were being sexually assaulted or treated less like a human then a man or would you leave and try to find something that treated you better?..... and by no means am I saying it's the woman's fault..... I just think it's some point Common Sense has to kick in and once you realize the situation isn't the best for you ... you should try to change the situation or get away from it if they're not smart enough to do that then they most likely need help or if they're too scared to do anything about it they still need help but it doesn't change the fact you have the right to walk away anytime you want......... and it's funny because you don't support Hollywood and what they do to actresses but yet you still buy their movies so they can continue to do it.... don't u find that a little bit hypocritical.... or are you supporting the actresses....... even if you're Supporting Actresses you still give the people who sexually assaulted them or treat them like s*** more money you talk about equality and how you hate Hollywood yet you still pay those people even though you hate what they do you pay for them to be able to do it you see the irony
Its tough for Chloe because she doesn't really fit in anywhere in the acting world. She isn't considered a dramatic oscar contender, she isn't concerned traditionally attractive like Margot Robbie and she get unfairly criticised no matter what roles she takes. You hear all this.......
To pretty to play Carry
Not pretty enough to play the frat girl
Not enough enough range to play dramatic roles
To old looking to play a young girl
To young looking to play a woman
It's like she can't win.
I personally think she's lovely and fantastic.
Really great personality lady with cute face 🥰
I hope she addresses the blatant sexism of younger women in Hollywood have way more opportunities and success than younger men.
Can we just accept the fact that both genders have crap they deal wth. Like maybe one gender does have it harder than the other but we still both have horrible issues we have to deal wth. Like women not being treated fairly, getting abused in horrible ways, seen as smaller and an easy target and so much more. And let’s take a look at men. They r told to not show emotion, they get abused just like women but people don’t see that as an issue and shut them out like it’s not a big deal. There r so much more issues but just accept the fact that both genders r treated unfairly and we all go through crap. Just respect everyone and don’t act like their issues aren’t a big deal ❤️❤️❤️(Srry for the spelling errors)
Yes Ma’am It is true. All genders face harassment
It’s way worse for women, there’s no arguing.

She doth protest a bit much. This girl was born into an affluent family, is reasonably intelligent, and attractive. What did she have to 'struggle' against in her little privileged life?
Privileged? Her dad left and her mom was forced to take care of Choe and her 4 brothers on her own. You call that privileged?
@@hazelthorn6388, she was hardly deprived and living in dire poverty.
@@Interlocutor67 Not privileged either. She and her brothers didn't grow up rich or were born into royalty. That includes "Hollywood" Royalty.

Clint K Or being locked in detention centers
I love these interview where rich people who volunteer for shit complain about crap.
bro it was an opinion
I haven't watched yet but why is she speaking up for gender discrimination?
Huh?? Why shouldn’t she?
The director is a feminist with an agenda. Maybe thats why you noticed a change in how the behind the scenes was running. The studios want money but these idealist with certain leanings want a platform. The goals arent necessarily in line. They probably hired her for the publicity bump and then ran interference on her to make sure she didnt tank their movie by going full fembot.
Another bellyaching, privileged actress. Ricky Gervais said it best when he mocked Jenifer Lawrence for whining about the "gender pay gap" in Hollyweird, saying that low-paid nurses and hotel cleaners all wondered how she managed on her $50 million fortune.
Presque vu So happy someone agrees with me!
Ricky Gervais is no better than the people he finger wags at because he's just as privileged as they are.
That’s not the point. Even Lawrence acknowledged the fact that her letter was entitled. The point was that the industry considers paying women less than their male counterparts to be an acceptable practice, which drips down into everyday society. People shouldn’t be paid (valued) based on their gender. It’s not about the level of pay, it’s about acknowledging the disparity. I think it’s funny how everyone goes on about these “entitled” women asking to be paid more, but no-one seems to suggest the men be paid less. If the wages are fair, what difference would it make for the men to be paid as little as the women? Since the rates of pay for women are so good?
