Hate to be that guy but, you know 1.d4 Nf6 is called "Indian Game" as it could lead to the King's Indian Defence or the Nimzo-Indian or some similar lines, right?
Great game by Anish I have no doubt he’s capable of playing great chess that first game vs Gukesh Anish played fantastic only to miss crucial moves in the end this was a big game for him I’m sure it boosts his confidence great effort from Pragg . Many great games coming from this tournament Classical Chess is alive and well thanks for the game was so happy to see Agadmator had made another video today Fantastic
I consider myself a tactical player and however found all the pause the video moves! Maybe I just feel inspired whenever Anish plays a Dubov idea! 😂😘🙌🏻
It doesn't look like it was played by Pragg. Certainly it was a poor game as he kept on defending pawns instead of attacking. Maybe the long tournament is taking toll now. And if Prag can improve his stamina he can do much better!
It may seem like Anish is no longer going for all draws, but that is just because he lost a game. With this win he has, on average, drawn every game exactly as he intended
sir, for the 3rd pause the video moment, Bc3 is winning because after cxb2, there is Rcxd8 and if b1=Q means, its mate in 1 and if not, then Rd1 is there.
13:31 Why does not Rcxd8 work? if b1=Q then Rxe8# and if Rxd8 then Rxd8+ and Rd1 to stop promotion am I missing something or just not big brained enough?
Better than the video title it could've been a lot better to be the quote above the board: "Perfectly balanced as all things should be". - Thanos the Conqueror Or better Thanos the Snapper 😅
Pause the Video says the move I "didn't want to play" but at that time I was instantly like ... this is the only move surely? I started checking other lines ... wtf, why would nobody see this obvious move? weak or sloppy analysis once again from chess "youtubers" no longer caring about any real analysis
That bishop on b7 with a pawn chain in front of it, i think anytime it appears in a game, there is very little chance of that player winning or even drawing the game. 🤐 May be Gukesh won at the candidates versus Pragg with black from such a position, and even that was a very Herculean achievement.
@@AnjelLee-f8c I see you every where making excuses, with that logic Gukesh the prep warrior won against a physically as well as mentally ill chinese middle aged lifeless dude. Nice try Diddy
for a long time it was...just a meme. ofc now recently when his form dipped draws obv go up. But when anish was around 2780 constantly he wasnt drawing more than people around him. Career wise thats still the same most likely.. its not a conspiracy, its just fans who dont like him from when he was more arrogant hammering the draw meme. but his results or chess style didnt reflect it... the only thing you could say is that anish draws winning position quite a lot by losing the plot somewhere... but to get the winning position in the first place you cant have a drawing style
What Pragg lacks is the KILLER INSTINCT that every champion possesses. Unless he develops it and always plays with an aim to win, he will always remain to be an also ran wonder boy and nothing else. Sorry to say the truth after watching his slow decline.
Congrats to Anish on his first win in his career. Proud of him!
😂😂😂😂
Drawish Giri
Exceptional after is 2023 tournament win.
It's a masterpiece by Anish. What a monster bishop he created!!
I LoL'd so hard at "where he belongs" 😂
I found all the pause the video moves! Not much but makes me happy for tonight :)
We are on the top of the mountain and we are just half way there. Take rest for now.
It's the small things in life.
Congratulations, you are an excellent player.
1:30 Anish and playing for a FULL point (not a half), something OUTLANDISHLY INCREDIBLEST😅
omg a win for anish on the agadmator channel, this is epic!
"Going for a some sort of Indian" 💀
“Dutch Indian” 😅
Playing like Injuns
Hate to be that guy but, you know 1.d4 Nf6 is called "Indian Game" as it could lead to the King's Indian Defence or the Nimzo-Indian or some similar lines, right?
Anish likes balance, therefore he makes draws.
He lost once, so he backed the balance by winning.
Look at his score now:
1/7/1

17:06 "Anish back at 50% where he belongs"😂
The description is Pragg vs Mendonca lmao
I consider myself a tactical player and however found all the pause the video moves! Maybe I just feel inspired whenever Anish plays a Dubov idea! 😂😘🙌🏻
Incredibly high level chess technique has been played in this game!
"where he belongs" is too cruel even for draw-ish giri 😂
A good Game From Anish 😅
It doesn't look like it was played by Pragg. Certainly it was a poor game as he kept on defending pawns instead of attacking. Maybe the long tournament is taking toll now. And if Prag can improve his stamina he can do much better!

Back in 50% where he belongs🤣🤣🤣 Agad firing on all cylinders, he on roast mode
oh yeah , that cracked me up , can't stop laughing for about two minutes 🤣 🤣🤣
This is my first time seeing Anish win a classical game
When Anish is not stealing pawns & drawing games, he does manage to win an occasional one...😉
He stole extra queen yesterday. So it worked .
Remember Anish missed a clear win in the first game against Gukesh. That had to prey on his mind for awhile.
Play. Play on this mind.
Anish is a little bit bitter upset after accidentally winning a game from a clear draw he firstly intended.
Fantastic
Can someone answer me please, why they start with 57 seconds?
No
@@gopalbhakat4896 Don't be mean
based @@gopalbhakat4896
It’s due to the increment. They’re starting with a round number, spending a few seconds, then the increments lands in a bizarre soot
Arjun the ELO farmer finding it tough to win against top quality players.
Arjun, Leon and another player are all ill. There is some bad virus in the Netherlands.
@@AnjelLee-f8c Nice try Super Diddy, but Arjun the ELO farmer is about to drop down from 2800 today

So finally mister Draw could win a game
sir, for the 3rd pause the video moment, Bc3 is winning because after cxb2, there is Rcxd8 and if b1=Q means, its mate in 1 and if not, then Rd1 is there.
After Rd1 black plays b4 and the rook can't stop the pawns
At 13:57 you forgot to emphaise that it always wins.
Only for white is it the best move in any position
13:31 Why does not Rcxd8 work? if b1=Q then Rxe8# and if Rxd8 then Rxd8+ and Rd1 to stop promotion am I missing something or just not big brained enough?
As a matter of fact I was missing something. Black plays b3 after Rd1 and wins. Thanks to @stockfish for giving me a quick and concise answer!
I also thought the same. I think you are right.
I had the same thought but I checked the engine. After Rd1 black has b4 and the pawns will queen.
@@tomimestari5148wait how does black play b3?? Its impossible
@@colinanderson1003Yes, you are right
Will yous show fedoseev vs harikrishna from this round? It was also a very interesting game

I’m so happy for anish
People who watch the games live, knows gukesh was lucky against anish ,anish would have won easily if not for one move😅
Great coverage of a great game !
Battle of the giants. What a game.
Giri is a fantastic player, especially in classical chess. Very happy for him.
Anish draws again
1win 1 loss
It must have been so challenging for Anish to play a winning position and not going for the draw offer, congrats to him
Wrong PGN in the description :p

I so sad that Prag lost. I like Prag.
Still rooting for Pragg!!
yes, a joke. quality humor right there
Anish didnt use "Drawish gambit" this time.
A beautiful game!
I found F5 😃
Anish with pure class
question why do prag gets 50 minutes after timecontrol and Anish only 30? PRags clock went from 4:xx zu 50:xx and Giris from 7:xx to 30:xx
Why did prag get 50 mins of extra time but anish only got 30?
okay okay love it
3/3
Fight for 3rd position
Thanks for showing the disgusting engine line 🙂
I don't know if the video title is intentionally referencing The Spiffing Brit, but I like it.

Anish disappointed he didn't get anothrr memorable draw...

Hey @agadmator, the PGN in the description is of a different game!
Remember Indian chess was forcing and promoting Pragg like crazy, LOL...Meanwhile Gukesh is World Champion and Arjun is higher rated
Pragg is still a great player. I think he is the strongest after Gukesh
