- Lead singer John Wozniak was inspired to write the song after a woman told him that a room smelled like "sex and candy."
Notes on recording this: Listening to the original, I could distinctly hear an acoustic guitar, and a slightly overdriven one, hence the dual guitar for this cover.
The 90's, an amazing era in rock music.

Your balance of the acoustic and Tele are perfect man! I used to watch these guys when they were a cover band on Long Island....they were managed by 'Omnipop' which cranked out cover bands all over the place. These guys were called 'Wonderama', and got a lot better as Marcy Playground - they had the right chemistry to break out of that scene and go on their own. Excellent cover man!

@@hearpalhere Oh yeah...they were a full on pre-fabbed cover band. This agency actually put them all together - had them all play the same songs (all the bands were like carbon copies of one another), and booked them at various clubs in the area. This group had a chemistry, so they decided to start writing tunes together - left Omnipop, and scored a deal.
