So, to set the scene, Alan Walker is planning this concert where he has restrung his music to match his love of movie songs. His concert is sold out and millions are watching live stream. So, he needs to find someone to help him kick-off the concert's first two songs. So, he thinks, "Let's find a 10-year-old who can sing really well and throw her on stage with the rowdy fans who will be drinking tons of beer". Angelina treats the event like a little sing-fest for friends and family. She smiles and waves to the fans and Most Of All; she acts like she belongs there. So very comfortable in her own skin. Hats off to Alan for recognizing not only the talent of Angelina but also her incredible stage presence. Thank you for reacting to some amazing all-around music.

Alan Walker is a well-known DJ in and performer in Europe. This is his heading home concert. He chose Angelina Jordan to sing the first two songs of his concert, "Sing Me To Sleep" and "Faded". She was only 10 years old at the time. Simply Amazing.

I didn't know who Allen Walker was until Angelina sang this, and the other one, but I can't imagine it could ever be better than this,, I did look him up, and saw he was big time in Europe,, Thank You Allen for haveing Angelina do this and introducing us to more music and more of her talents and yours

Even at 10 years of age Angelina's stage presence is jaw dropping.
At a very young age Angelina said she had 3 goals. 1. To sing at the Nobel Peace Prize. Check, she sang "What A Wonderful World" in front a huge crowd and directly to the Nobel winners...AT 8 YEARS OLD. 2. To sing with Alan Walker. Check, Opened for his live performance to a worldwide audience...AT 10 YEARS OLD. 3. To sing for "that Simon show". Check, sang Bohemian Rhapsody on AGT in front of Simon Cowell... AT 13 YEARS OLD. She also said at 6 years old that she wanted to become a superstar and sing for the world. Expect a check on this goal soon.
She is already a world-wide superstar, America just hasn't caught up yet. 😎

Great reaction. It was refreshing to see a reactor who actually knows these songs and their original instrumentation and appreciates the re-orchestration and Angelina's performance. Of all of her live performances, I think this one shows her absolute professionalism and stage presence at age 10. This was a rowdy crowd and Angelina opened the concert with the first 2 songs and absolutely owned the audience.
This is one of my favourite performances of hers. Simply stunning. 😎

Everyone's comments say it all! May I add I am so proud of her when I watch her sing live to that large AW audience. She is never nervous because that's exactly where she wants to be. It's where she is most comfortable, singing for us.

People who may have thought she might feel the pressure of such
a large venue as this, should note that she has appeared in charity

I'm 67 years old, and this gifted young lady has introduced me to songs and musicians that I normally would have never heard. Both of these songs and Alan Walker are on that list. It was so awesome seeing you get excited over the songs and lip syncing with them. Goosebumps do come occasionally, but she always pulls the tears from my eyes no matter how many times I've heard her sing a song. I enjoyed this reaction very much.

the happiness you show on this reaction makes this video really good. I heard this song soooo many times. Angelina looks super adorable.
It's amazing when you take a moment to think about it. Here we have a 10 year old, with an orchestra behind her, in the middle of hundreds if not thousands of people singing this song with all her heart. Calm as a cucumber. Her voice slips at one point, no problem, she continues as if nothing had happened. A true professional. She even greets some people in the audience with hand gestures during her performance. Some say that Alan Walker was inspired by Angelina's arrangements, after seeing her perform this song on UA-cam. She is a born singer.

This is the "Alan Walker is Heading Home" concert. I believe Alan has dual citizenship in the UK and Norway, so he was very familiar with Angelina's rise to fame on NGT. He asked her to sing the opening two songs in this concert. I'm not sure how many people were in the audience, but I'm guessing 1000s. To give you some idea of how popular Alan is in Europe and Asia, his EDM YT posting of "Faded" with a vocal by someone sounding a lot like Angelina (not her), has 3.2B views---that's Billions. I looked up performances by Whitney, Adele, Celine, etc., and no one has near that many. So to pick Angelina to perform here is really quite special. And as is always the case, she shows no fear. I enjoyed you reaction, and I look forward to more.

It is notable, that if you watch the entire concert, the orchestra disappears along with Angelina, and Walker does "Faded" again with his singer(s), in the electronic version.

Alan Walker is not only a DJ, but a producer, song writer and performer from Norway. Alan invited his fellow Norwegian, 10 year old Angelina to perform at this live concert in Bergen, Norway. To say that this is not Epic would be an understatement by any meaning of the words. One of my favorite performances by the music Angel. If you like how she sung "Faded" in this concert then you really need to see Angelina's totally different, and spectacular rendition at a live outdoor festival in Norway with a great Jazz band behind her. Me and my daughter have been graced with pretty active imaginations. I once read a book and sometime later was unable to recall if I'd seen a movie or read the book. My Daughter is the same way. When this first came out she knew the song as she would sing it to the youngest grandbabies to calm them. Then we watched this and after the second time of the cories she broke down crying. I asked why and she said "I watched Titanic with Alexzander yesterday after we put the kids down. Remember the part where the Mother starts telling her kids a bedtime story about Tír na nÓg because she knows they are not going to survive and wants them to be asleep when the end comes. This song would have rendered entire theaters to sobbing salty poos of tears". Yup, Thats my girl.

i have seen this performance before, but i didnt remember her voice cracking the way it did there. you also have to remember how young she is here. i dont know what year this was, but she was born in january 2006. so whenever this video was recorded, count back to 2006 and there you go.
Her voice cracked because she was sick and she had a temperature. She still wanted to sing with Alan Walker, and she did that night. Just incredible!

Alan later did ask if she do a whole tour with him but was declined because it was felt that AJ really did need to go to school.
I think one of the reasons they declined the offer could also be that there are laws in Norway, as in other countries, that regulate child labor under a certain age. That's why, at the time, she was mostly singing at charity events. I read that her mother once said that they turn down more than 90% of the requests.

Maybe it's my imagination, but I'm sure the picture and audio mix on AJ's 2 songs are better in this version ... also, 'Faded' sung by Swede Tove Styrke at the end of the concert is good but no better than AJ's, IMHO ... the electronic arrangement is slower.
