It looks like the downtime between trances will be summoning these three, which is going to make it essentially not have really any downtime, and I am all up for it. So excited!
@@ducksoup10 I think it’s more or less a cycle. You use Bahamut, use up the three gems (Ifrit, Titan, Garuda) then you unlock Phoenix, use him, then use the gems again, then Bahamut, all in a loop.
Paladin BABY!!!! and Sage + Summoner. ^.^ Now about Summoner. You do Bahamut or Phoenix and get one of each Ifrit, Titan and Garuda THIS x-pac, so what is to stop them from changing Pheonix's three from Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda to Ramuh, Leviathan, and Shiva in the following x-pac (giving you SIX mid step summons) :O
So as we learned from the Job Adjustment section, fun fact for Monk. Part of their adjustment is giving them a new skill to use through Perfect Balance after specific conditions are met which after a string of combo of Monk skills allows for a Masterful Blitz skill, the two in the video they showed was Phoenix Rising and Phantom Rush, (With some XIV flair) (not official names but I mean just look at them) Monk is literally getting Sabin's Blitz commands implemented into their kit. The Blitz skill used varies depending on the combo of skills before it.
Currently third eye proc only gives you options to either self heal or spend kenki for a dps ogcd weave. From the trailer it seems third eye proc will give you 10 kenki too when it procs
Seems like they’re more focused on improving on the changes made in ShB and less on reworking the classes (except SMN, obviously). And honestly, that’s fine with me. Also, Paladin, my main, got ALL THE SWORDS!!!!!!!
It's a good day to be an RDM main! We're inching closer and closer to the ideal of "I can do a little bit of everything" with that AoE shield. Also, Paladin EMIYA vs Bard Gilgamesh, let's gooooooo!
As a scholar main this was the biggest slap to our job, white mage got a cool totem thing, astro got new flashy stuff, we got... what did we get? (Cries as switching to sage)
The thing is, Scholar is getting stuff, they are just being kinda quiet about it. During the Livestream they explained that all the healers' dps cast times are lower now, as well as they are all getting new single target buffs. For Scholar specifically we know they get a new AoE buff (the one at the end of its clip) that grants damage resist and movement speed up even mid combat. Plus they said there would be changes to how shield healing works to make it more barrier focused. Another thing is, Sage is almost all just barriers healing except for a single target partner system that requires the Sage to do damage to heal. So Scholar will still have an edge when it comes to passive and big AoE stuff. Not to mention, contrary to what Reddit will tell you, Scholar isn't bad. Most people just can't get over the fact that DPS Scholar was OP and is never coming back.
@@midnightbloomofeorzea7182 I can tell you don't play SCH from a mile away. It's okay, we are used to being shat on since stormblood. We are all going to change to Sage and if they rework SCH I'm going to take all my SCH merchandise that I have bought over the years (because I love the class so much) out of the trash and wear it again. If not, SCH won't be missed and we keep playing Sage.
Been hyped for reaper since it was first revealed. That teleport was so sick when I saw it live. After the teleport they can instant cast that scythe throw, otherwise it's a charged throw.
Missed your stream but this is amazing. Smn gonna be hella fun, especially since your moves will base on who's summoned. I think sch gave a speed buff but I could be wrong
that second MCH shot looked like Buzzsaw Blades... since we don't get a proper CHAINSAW! also SAM got an ICE aoe to complete the aoe trinity (ice, flower, moon)
About samurai, they add up new aoe combo from fuga, and we recive 2 charges of tsubame gaeshi. Nope my fellow gunbreaker its not counter attack. Third eye now regenaretes kenki when you recived hit And yeees new iajutsu (:
Summoner has become a straight up DPS class, they're dropping dots in favor of straight damage. Mobility and AOE's seem to be what they've added to all the classes, based on the veeeeeery lengthy tal from last night. Which leads me to believe that there'll be a lot more group mobs we'll be dealing with.
Honestly, I'm fine with them becoming straight damage. Dots never fit into their fantasy, imo. It was all about summoning and harnessing the power of summon monsters.
@@alioness-w-noregrets7471 yeah the two new jobs were in showcases before this live letter. Sage got revealed at the Announcement showcase around 7 months ago and Reaper got revealed at the Digital Fanfest in May. This job action video came from the Letter from the Producer Live(Live Letter) last week. All of the streams can be found the FFXIV official channel if you ever wanted to see it. Be warned if you do watch them because these showcases mostly assume you are caught up with the most recent patch especially the Announcement Showcase and Fanfest
You can laugh at me if you want, but I literally started to cry when I saw Summoner. It's EVERYTHING I have been asking for and MORE!
You're not the only one :D I mean this should have been what the summoner is all about...actual summons

Just came from Larryzar’s reaction! He freaked out so much he’ll need new pants!
i just realized after re-watching, when he left the phoenix phase the gems were all lit up, does that mean there's still even more after that????

@@GuardianofRoin Beats me. Hopefully it was brown.

Paladin: Yes.
YoshiP: so I herd you like UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS
You can have all the swords you want but your shield still can't save haurchefant.
Because Paladin isn’t that strong compare to Dark Night. The shield is Astoflo level xD
As a SMN main, my main worry now is finding a party with how many others suddenly wanna play it too 😂
you'll be fine, since sage and reaper are coming out at the same time, it'll dilute the pool a bit.

They are also FINALLY bringing in monk lore mentioned back in the heavensward job quests. The chakras of light and dark
Btw the pieces at the beginning were re-enacting E12S movements
finally someone noticed.
Mostly old abilities with some spice added... and then the goddamn Summoner shows up and changes EVERYTHING!
you can say, *put on the glasses*, SMN no longer ruin the party
YoshiP lied, we didn't get 2 new classes this expansion. We get 3.
We got 4 actually, MNK changed considerably as well.
I really want to play Summoner now, but the thought of Spell Weaving Windows still haunts the hell out of me
The Samurai 'Counter' was using Third eye which gave some kenki when hit, then following it by spending new kenki with Sennei
