Yeah, Tie spiker I really like it up there in Greenwich i know a signal maintainer told JT and 1960 gambit and adventures with Joey boats that they would get 60 to 80 trains through there and a 24 hour period and I know every time they went up there they would get from 25 to 50 trains in the daytime but anyway another awesome video, my friend and you stay safe out there and we’ll see you on the next one
Even though it was a bland weather day at least the signal Bridges and that Grove of trees plus the golden grass help balance it out. The coke trains usually have a unique combination of cars. Also that one train with all of those gondolas someone is placing some serious pipe purchases is there a unit trains of them going through Effingham IL They also keep getting those WCRC gondolas with the high ends which are from Washington Central. Looks like a place worthy of a couple hours visit
@@kens.3729 they had a derailment in Kentucky yesterday so NS 123 was held for 24 hours in the Frankfort yard. It left here this morning at least it wasn’t blocking intersection
Any train that stops on multiple crossings for a few hours is not only a pain but something railroads try to avoid happening. However, there are some benifits to the mega trains. Let's say that before mega trains there were 8 mainline freights through a town a day. That's 8 trains blocking crossings and 8 trains coming through town blowing and crossing over highways. With the mega trains you now have only 4 trains coming through town a day. Something to consider
I love Greenwich for railfans its very busy, with so many tracks, always something to see. ❤👍

Monster or Mega trains are a Nightmare in Towns because they Block many RX Crossings especially if they Stop for a few hours. 🤔🤪👎
