Kids Week is an annual audience development initiative run exclusively on Official London Theatre, helping children go to the theatre for free. This year for the first time ever, the campaign is lasting through the summer holidays.
From July 17 until August 31, a child aged 17 and under can see a show for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price, plus an additional two children can attend for half price. And there’s no booking fees!

I remember when Darcy was a baby and now she’s so grown up and so beautifully spoken. It’s such a privilege to be able to watch her grow up! 💕💕
Oh my goodness, I have watched religiously over the years but it still feels like she’s grown up in a flash. So glad she loves her new pierced ears, I remember how grown-up I felt when I had mine done at 13, such a magical experience for girly girls like us 🥰

Baby Glitter has grown into such a lovely young lady and now she has some extra sparkle... in her ears! So glamorous! Pearl is precious and did such a great job coloring in! It pleases me that a bit of wholesome coloring is her favorite thing over all the “big, exciting things” in London! So sweet and down to earth. You are doing a spectacular job raising two lovely little ladies! Brava, dearest Louise! 💗👏🏻💗
I was going to get my ears pierced when I turned 8 but the Lindsay Lohan Parent Trap had just come out and I was TRAUMATIZED by the ear piercing scene. It took me a whole year to work myself up to getting it done 😂
Darcy did very well with her piercings! Give her a big pat on the back from an internet auntie 😉 Also, I just love Pearl's zest for life. I hope she's able to keep that as she grows up 💗

@Louisepentland that's wonderful! I remember getting mine done at darcys age in a hairdressers with a piercing gun, it was awful! I still have problems with them 20 years later. Glad those times are generally behind us!

The girls are just so lovely and Darcy getting her ears pierced. Her face was adorable. Thank you for taking us along. When Lion King film came out I went with my sons primary class. Their faces when they watched it , I still remember that day and my son is now 35. Its the film we still watch and enjoy, makes me fill up every time as its a treasured memory. x

This vlog was so lovely to watch. I've enjoyed all your videos, but this one in particular felt special. It made me feel the joy of days out like that with my own Mum (and brother) when we were similar ages to the girls. Though our equivalent to your London is Sydney (Australia), as we live an hour up the coast.
Two of my strongest happy memories of my childhood are going to the theatre with my Mum and brother. When I was around Pearl's age, we saw Peter Pan, and I remember being completely awed when they flew over the audience on wires (which you couldn't really tell with the clever lighting) and it was honestly such a breathtaking, magical moment for me. I haven't thought of that memory in so long, thank you for the gift of bringing it forth. And then when I was 10/11, we saw The Lion King and it was incredible! I totally agree with how moving it was! A truly transporting experience that captivated me as a kid.
I'll actually be visiting London in mid-November and am deciding which shows to see. How many is too many? 😅

Also it's technically the correct way to pronounce 'nike' as nikey, but I feel like in the UK most people pronounce without the "ee" sound at the end

It's great to hear pearl enjoys rainbows. Have you heard about girlguiding trying to force the closure of the national activity centres? They're wonderful resources for girls to have safe adventures so there's a campaign to try and save them. It would be great if you could use your platform to raise awareness of the cause!
I got my daughter ears pierced when she was a baby, cute thing was when we went to the place there were a group of 9-11 year old girls waiting and scared to get their ears done. They all watched as my daughter who was 6 months get hers ears done and she cried a little but was distracted by all the young girls praising her for a job well done. They weren’t so scared after lol she is 10 now.

Can I just say thankyou so much for getting her ears pierced properly! I was so worried it was going to a a Claire's piercing gun kind of situation but they did it correctly with a needle in a clean environment and they were so friendly. Well done Darcy! I fainted after getting mine done for the first time xD

When I got my ears pierced it wasn't looking is they do know. It looked like a stapler. My mom still says that I screamed so hard. I would have loved little studs as my first pair. I believe mine had hearts or butterflies. How has Darcy grown up so gorgeously. And what a lovely day out.
