Which characters are more admirable? The characters that aren't broken after so much horrible things in their lives and keep going with hope? Or the ones that are, but keep going anyways? For me, it's the latter. They don't know what hope is and gave up on happiness a long time ago, but still fight the good fight and help others because they have to. Dean's one of those characters and that's why I love him. It's a realistic complexity not enough heroes have.
exactly!imagine your mom tells you over and over the "angels are watching over you" crap! after seeing this awful season I only can tell them(even to castiel): nice work!!just to see that in the end an ancient half humanity demon gives you the guarantee that no one can kill you and a demon with two thirds humanity inside him come and brought you back from the dead without making any deals!dean was campletly broken in this season!when the thinman was gonna slice his throut his face didn't show any emotions!he was just(do whatever you want just quicker!) I don't think if he was succeed in killing metatron he was gonna return to his old life anyway!he was just gonna gave the first blade to crowley or anyone and then leave and be alone in the rest of his life just like cain!after becoming a demon he had no intrest to return to human form and anyone has stupid questions like:why or how? this video is the reason!
I love the rage that evolves inside Dean, what if he had this curse (or imo ability) earlier on in the series, then he'd been unbeatable, although I know that would've made the plot fuzzy
