Maybe it's because I'm an older sibling. But I've always found Dean's story harder to take, more heart breaking. He's the character that I relate to, the one I always want to be okay and the one who can help me if I'm ever down. I adore him, and his mental health issues (cause there are some) and his drinking, his violent nature should 100% be focussed on more. His constant protective nature is something that I am in awe of and also completely understand. He has given up so so much of himself and let go of many opportunities to save so many people and it breaks my heart.
His mother has never been a mother, his father is more like a commanding officer than a parent and Sam does seem to be John's favourite, Sam got protected and Dean got punished for wanting a little space. Dean had to look after Sam constantly and when he didn't he was told he failed, and that has stuck with him through his whole life.
Deny it all you want but in season 8 Sam abandoned Dean and the people he left behind (Kevin), he didn't try to save him, didn't look for him and kept a promise that was made to be broken, I was not a fan of that storyline, because although Sam would sacrifice himself, you saw that when he got freedom, he put himslef first, when Sammy went to hell dean would try anything, he would still try to hunt and still try to keep an ear out for anything supernatural.
Dean is the strongest and best character is this show for me because of his sacrifices and his never ending loyalty to his family (not just Sammy but Jodie, Cas etc)
He is flawed and doesn't always do the right thing for the right reason but that makes him human and that makes him better than a lot of other TV show characters because you see what someone who has no options would do to save the people he loves.
I adore Sammy but again i have this connection with dean that is what makes the show special, along with the sibling bond and J2.
Yeah but you forget in season 5 Dean is with Lisa as per Sam's begging. Although it doesnt last long, he did give up his hunting life to keep his promise.
As the youngest of two sisters, I relate to Dean more. I sometimes display violent tendencies. That’s why I rarely show emotion or feel stuff. It’s the way I live by, and believe. So don’t expect me to be forgiving.
If Ghost Rider existed, I would most definitely sell my soul to protect my family. But that would mean leaving them, which I’m okay with. I want to break free, be myself. But I can’t. One day, they will see

What I took from this is the struggle within him knowing what he was doing was wrong. That’s the significance of the room trashing and it wasn’t the 1st time he trash something to vent his feelings. I love the strength he shows in spite of. Carry On, Dean is awesome

A atuação dele nunca foi reconhecida por outro personagem, tá presa no Jesse. Isso costuma acontecer com alguns atores que encarnaram demais os personagens. Um exemplo disso, são os atores que fizeram o primeiro Homem-Aranha, o Harry Potter e o ze pequeno. Foram brilhantes atuando nesses personagens, mas nunca conseguiram outro personagem tão bom.

I liked everything about supernatural. even when most of fans started complaining in later season. the things which is thorn for me is death of old death.

I watched this around noon and I love this so much...I started to cry and my friend walks in thinking I was having a mental break down. I told that I was watching this video with Dean fighting himself mentally and Sam still having faith in his big brother...she started to cry too. We cried for about a good three minutes and then a teacher comes and asks if we were okay, we simply replied by telling him that we were just remembering moments that we bonded over so long ago so he natural just replied "I did that with my wife once when watching Supernatural, you know? That was also the show we watched when we were no our first date" and immediately we tell him that "We were also just remembering Supernatural" and what we were watching. Two minutes later and we three were now just watching videos on UA-cam about Supernatural and we all started to cry. When the bell rang our teacher just whispered "Bitch" to which my friend says "Jerk", then I said "Assbutt". This has to be my favourite day ever!!!
