Try Isn’t it a pity. One of his greatest songs. You will love it. There’s the album version from All things must pass, but the live version from The concert for George is fantastic too.
It’s so emotional when you listen to the lyrics, so amazing. The song is good I must say, great reaction 👌, me too it’s first time listening the song. May he keep resting 🙏🏼
Wow wow this is one of the best songs.I don’t know him but the song is great, nice lyrics and am here shaking. Thanks for bringing these amazing songs to us and great reaction vid 👍🏾👍🏾
Hello genging, you with your swaggerlicious greetings always cracking me up. My sweet Love, Alleluia. That is a great rhythm and chorus, nice selection as always, the genging chieftain.
I love the way he nail the song ,so classic . He really know how to deliver the song , showing how he loved the lord.. Cimdy I love that your voice sis.

GOOD CHOICE !! love this artist but UR lovely smile is even more enjoyable NO DOUBT UR the watch & always ur video reeactions are GOLDEN to these mixed latino's eyes...GREAT WORK!!! Continue sucesss on this channel that not only ALBERTO likes but MEXICO enjoys!!!
RIP George Harrison. I still have all my Beatles albums from the 60's and I still have this on a 45 record. Ringo Starr, Billy Preston and Eric Clapton also performed on this song. This was a #1 hit for George after the Beatles break up and was the first #1 hit by any Beatle after the break up. George famously sang this at the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971.
sometimes people lose focus on the amazing and beauty in life, because of the noise from traffic and ugly people.. but if you can notice the magic in the world then you may ask to see it and know it that is it.. the thing that gives life to things, and the music he plays that is connected to you and you feel it, and you trace it back to its source, but you then you lose sight of it again
Hopefully someday soon you'll do a reaction to George Harrison's song called what is life. And if you do a reaction to this beautiful song Make sure you choose the video that his wife put together that has two ballet dancers in it. The video starts out with a beautiful dark-haired Russian woman who is a ballet dancer and she starts dancing in the street to the song and later she meets up with a male Mexican ballet dancer in the woods during the song. It makes an already incredibly beautiful song even more beautiful.
I believe it was a contest after George passed away, people submitted their concepts for a music video for What Is Life, some submitted sort of demo versions of the video, and this concept won. The prize was to have the video made with a big production budget and become the official music video for the song, there was probably some cash prize as well.
Ok, some trivia, this song was on George's second solo album," All Things Must Pass ", which was the first solo album of any Beatle after they broke up. It's loaded with great songs and won the Grammy for album of the year. It is also the most successful of any solo Beatle album .
He really could make beautiful music also this with a religious aspect. God is everything with the name you call him or not. It´s the same "all and "everything"
A classic, beautiful and yet controversial song that earned George a lawsuit which took some 5 years (1976-1981) to be resolved. The court finally decreed that George had subconsciously written it in the nuance of 'He's so fine' a hit by the Chiffons. In those five years the Beatles disgruntled ex manager Allen Klein thought he would clean up by buying the rights to the latter, however the court payout for George was $547,000 which was exactly the amount Allen Klein bought the rights for (greedy Klein was asking $1.6 million).. poor sod Klein got bupkis, haha!
A single from his landmark album; All Things Must Pass. The B side of the single is an equally beautiful track Isn't It a Pity. The other single from the 3 album set was the excellent What is Life. The music video with the "dancing" girl is fun to watch & highly recommended. Don't recall the B side to that one.
Apple scruffs bought both forty fives I was a beatles fan but I didn't know George Harrison was a beatles I was little I knew Beatle George didn't know his last name
That's "funny". Lennon sings: "Imagine there's no countries .... and no religion, too", and Harrison unites all religions under one roof. And basically they both mean the same thing.
"Humanities search for something bigger than us" .....You hit that nail square on the head......it is important to remember and know.....that IS.... all that it is. It is to humanities credit that at least some of us do cover ourselves in such humility and longing. So many religions.....so many beliefs. For myself.....I don't believe in any religions.....in a certain church......or priest. I have in the past. Didn't get me where it promised. I believe in truth....that there is an absolute truth. I will not find it all......but will wrap myself in humility while I search for it.....though I will dispense a little nonsense along the way. Hopefully that's ok. From what I've observed in humans we all have that spirit within......what ever it is.....who ever it is. We may take the time to listen to it.....we may drive right over it.....but it's there. It is my hope we all come to know .....before it's too late.....if there is such a thing as too late. The golden rule....do unto others as you would have others do unto you.....is a good start.....so is.....walk a while in another's shoes.....before you judge or speak.....There is one more......quit working and GO ON VACATION CIM CIM!!!! 🤣🤣🤣💖🌈🎼💖🌈
@@CimdyStyle Honestly?...ok.....but......missing your LS's ......TERRIBLY!!!! 😩😒🥱😩😒🥱......Hows you?......that was pretty funny when the headphones fell🤣🤣🤣.....hope they didn't break.......some truths and laws aren't always very convenient......like gravity 😂🤣😂
Did you notice how long it took before the drums kicked in? I remember hearing this song on the radio on the way home from church back when I was a little kid. That slide guitar really stood out and so did the hallelujah-hare krishna chorus. I played guitar in the church youth choir when I was in high school and my buddy and I tried to slip this song into the program once, until the director told us no. We played an instrumental bit from Pink Floyd instead without telling him and he never knew the difference. Harrison was taken to court over "My Sweet Lord" on the accusation that he plagiarized "He's So Fine" by The Chiffons for this song. He lost the case because the similarities between the songs are clear, but the ruling was that the plagiarism was subconscious so he retained his reputation, thankfully. I blame that whole mess on Phil Spector.
@@alanmatthews9945 "Record Collector editor Peter Doggett wrote in 2001 that, despite Harrison's inspiration for 'My Sweet Lord' having come from 'Oh Happy Day', 'in the hands of producer and arranger Phil Spector, it came out as a carbon copy of the Chiffons' [song]'.[70] Chip Madinger and Mark Easter rue that Spector, as 'master of all that was 'girl-group' during the early '60s', failed to recognise the similarities.[37]' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Sweet_Lord
@@mikecaetano That all reads like nonsense to me. You can sing 'He's So Fine' seamlessly over the top of 'My Sweet Lord' and visa versa. The subconscious plagiarism verdict was fair with both the melody and chord structure being so close - this would be clear on any pre-production demo. Spector played no part in influencing the song structure.
George was sued and had to pay like a million dollars because the song was similar to The Chiffons "He's so fine" . The way songs were written by The Beatles and everyone was play around with a good song and make subtle changes . John quipped George should have changed it more but I love the song just the way it is!!
A very nice arrangement but it seems George did steal the melody from another little-known group. He had to pay lots of money in compensation, after which he said "I'm down to my last 10 million.." If you like the song, have a listen to Cat Stevens - Morning Has Broken (original studio recording).
Hi, My Sweet Lord sounds good, but he's not singing about Jesus, but a false god, Harrison wrote "My Sweet Lord" in praise of the Hindu god Krishna, at the end when he says My sweet Lord, he says Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Harrison was in false religion, he wasn't singing about the Lord Jesus, but to his false god Krishna,
I really wanna know you hallelujah
