      @@ProfessorLeonard Hi professor Leonard
I don’t know should I say this or not. Before everything thing that I want learn, I meditate. I use my 100 percent effort to clear my mind of everything. surprisingly, everything I study about the topic after that no matter how tough is it, it goes through my mind like as if you pick up a glass water and drink it. Believe or not, it becomes that much easy! What you think? Do you have any explanations about this?

I am a 69 yrs old man, retired, and stumbled into your CALC videos. I began to watch them and finally understood a lot of steps, so I'm learning and enjoying calculus for the first time -- thanks to your extremely good method and demeanor in teaching it. In college eons ago, I had to take 1 yr of Calculus and was so lost and as a result I did not do very well. So my passing but low grades brought down my GPA in other sciences classes such as chemistry and biology. Now through your videos I understand calculus better. Wish I had you as my teacher in the 70's!! :) So, keep up the good work and the way you teach and explain math !!! We all thank you very much!!

After failing it the third time, and my teacher telling me to go back to Trigonometry, I decided to take Calc2 again the 4th time in session 2 of summer and finally passed it. Was disappointed it was a C, but I'm finally able to move on in my career, never taking that teacher again, even though he's enthusiastic about teaching, but he legit told me to face that I can't pass this class. I'm 51 years old, not in School, but for some crazy reason just enjoy doing math for fun. I wish I felt like this when I was in School as I most likely would have done something in the Math Field. I started doing "math for fun" about 4 years ago and if my memory serves me correctly I distinctly remembering having some conversation with my wife which involved something to do with Calculus. I googled something and BINGO, I'm on UA-cam with some Engergetic Guy Chanting "The Slope of Curve at a Point ... You Remember ... Do You Remember ... You Remember...". So I watched and I watched and I watched and have lived in "Leonard Land" for many years now. I literally have chosen to stay home and do Math Videos over going out to the movies on some nights. Okay so To The Point ... Prof Leonard Videos are A+++. This Guy is great at so many levels and his videos really do help anyone learn math. I use them all the time to help teach the kids I help teach math too. So I am just a Fan saying Thank You Leonard for all your hard work and great videos and ALSO recommending to ALL Students, Teachers, and Crazy People like me who just watch math videos for fun to Watch, Like, Subscribe, and Support the Channel :) I am just getting into the TTP Video's and I am really impressed with what I have seen so far.

That's the thing man. Look. I believe people who watch professor leo's videos are the people that want to have an in depth knowledge about the different math topics. And if you want to really understand the concepts well and in depth, you have to invest serious time and effort into understanding the concepts. There's just no shortcuts. It's gonna take time. I mean sure, if you just want to do well in tests and exams, u can just memorize all the formulas and you'll be good to go, but that's not what this channel is about.

Thank you Professor Leonard for this public service! You've given me enough hope to not drop CALC2 (via correspondence) - my school lecture materials are insufficient, especially since I graduated uni 10 years ago. You've made trigonometric substitution a cakewalk as well as other forms of integration by breaking them down into simple logical steps. I like how you err on the side of giving us more explanation/examples and your emphasized warnings! This was a very useful methodology video. While I'm unemployed and re-training, I've turned off my ad-blockers for your videos and run them for at least 30 sec or click on the ad links. Thanks for interspersing them in a highly organized manner (at logical lesson breaks). Good luck to you and keep the videos coming - they're highly appreciated and can be career/life altering. I'm definitely going to be using these techniques this upcoming semester, I really had a hard time my first year in college and am hoping to make a change in the work habits I've grown into. These kinds of videos really help encourage me to work harder since it's alot nicer to know what someone else (especially from a professor of math) did in order to get through and learn math successfully. Thanks Professor Leonard, and i hope to come back after this semester and say that I was able to do well.

Thanks to you, Proffesor Leonard, I am no longer in the dark about how to study for math. I basically thought that it was impossible to do. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! I am going to be starting my first college year next year and I believe that the info that you put on your channel will be of great help since the teachers there can be terrible teachers from what I have heard. I am going to try to watch most of what you have over summer so that when they show me stuff, it won't be completely brand new. once again, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in an online trigonometry class and your words are so helpful my "instructor" basically loaded all the assignments and due date for the entire semester in one week I'm doing up to six section for one chapter with no help at all I'm using my book and thats all! I'm trying to communicate with my instructor that I need some type of instruction she just refers to the book and outside websites for help. Thank you so much for you words I appreciate this so much!

I actually had a great maths teacher when I was at school, for 'O' level. My 'A' level teacher was rubbish and I dropped out after a year. He was one of those teachers who only attends to the ones who understand. Well, now I am home educating my son for his IGCSE maths and we have worked all the way through the course to pre-calc and calculus. The book is quite lacking (I think they assume you will be studying at school) and in desperation we have arrived with Prof Leonard. THANK GOODNESS! Thankyou! I'm looking forward to going through past papers and really consolidating our learning. (I have been doing all the exercises along side him).

Some math classes cover a lot of information at a fast pace with a lot of homework. I had to somehow focus on the most critical stuff I thought would be on the next exam. In a larger school i found it very difficult to get one on one help in upper level classes. Eventually there are almost no tutors on campus to help. His lessons feel like one on one and he does a great job explaining and teaching. His lessons on Calculus helped me get my degree.
