@@TheVillageIdiot It was actually my brother who was the pilot of the cessna, ironically despite flying all over the country, as a child and again later on lived in a village a few miles away and actually went to school in Mattersey.
My mum who had a friend that lived in Everton in 1986 and they said that the crosses have been here and there everyone couple of months. May just be a seasonal thing.
In 1999 a raf jet collided with a cesna over everton. I've been in the village hall many times for Christmas plays which my uncle was in.
