Just WOW!!! It turned out so freaking cute! And honestly "epic" is a really good word to describe this project. Not only for its dimension (I mean, Moriah has done much, MUCH bigger projects size-wise), or even the amount of characters (again, other projects, like the cards, have WAY more). What I like the most about this whole chess project its the concept behind it; the 'battle' between themes that are very recurrent in this channel, like bunnies and cats, and chocolate and vainilla. Even the little details, such as characters in other species' costumes, which adds a sense of familiarity (because it's something we've seen plenty of times here) yet weirdness to this fantastic world Moriah creates. It's all very creative and out there while also being consistent and with a clear logic and intention behind it. I just love this channel so much, and this chesspiece set project encapsulates perfectly many of the reasons why. I enjoy watching Moriah's creations each week, but this was ESPECIALLY fun and beautiful for me!
You know something’s gonna be good when it has 3 parts and the fact that Moriah spent the same amount of time doing a chess board as she did doing a claw machine really shows how dedicated she can be ❤
Honestly the claw machine was probably easier for Moriah since it was all larger.... It's takes more time to cover but it's also easier to sketch and design a large flat surface and transfer those designs cleanly
She should make a "yearbook" of all your squishies like her oldest squishies could be seniors and there would be a class clown and hottest clouple etc.... Pleaseeeeee

I love how much more alive this makes the game actually feel! Instead calculated moves between nondescript pieces, it's CHAOS- a battlefield between your favourite characters! You really pulled this one off Moriah!
Oh my gosh, you should totally make a calendar with all your characters!! I mean, you could make those big pictures for each month, and maybe the days can be rainbow colored or something! The end result is fantastic. You should definitely look into whether there's an easy way to make this chess set - or something similar - into something you can sell in your shop. Whether you just give us the blanks and paints to make our own custom chess set, or get a company to produce completed ones. I mean, there are some gorgeous custom chess sets with the Mario characters etc on them that retail between $100 and $1000 depending on material, the level of detail etc.
it's just crazy looking at the final piece and everywhere there's an entirely new character with its own unique sculpt and colors, truly a work of art!

@@Annabelle.studiosthe rubiks cube is just drawings printed on a cube. this chess set has a lot of 3d details that can’t just be printed. i doubt this will ever be sold as merch.

A dollhouse series would be fun. Splitting up the videos by room would make it more manageable. But I feel like you deserve a break from big crazy projects after this one, so no rush.

I love how much more alive this makes the game actually feel! Instead calculated moves between nondescript pieces, it's CHAOS- a battlefield between your favourite characters! You really pulled this one off Moriah!
Oh my gosh, you should totally make a calendar with all your characters!! I mean, you could make those big pictures for each month, and maybe the days can be rainbow colored or something!

The end result is fantastic. You should definitely look into whether there's an easy way to make this chess set - or something similar - into something you can sell in your shop. Whether you just give us the blanks and paints to make our own custom chess set, or get a company to produce completed ones. I mean, there are some gorgeous custom chess sets with the Mario characters etc on them that retail between $100 and $1000 depending on material, the level of detail etc.
