I will keep that in mind! Thank you! Im using the "scumadmin" tool to fix with the weather and usually go with #settime 12.00 as its the nicest to build in.
Maybe, tbh I really dont know :) But its nice that with a click in the admin tool I can go from a rainy day to a sunny one in a sec, Not having to remember every single input myself :) @@johncochrane5675
@@johncochrane5675 Just to clarify tho, the first part of the video is suppose to be darker and look old as that is the Old design which I did a couple of months back named "popcorn" and so the tutorial is for the new, updated version of that base Popcorn 2.0. They had the nice mechanic of baricading existing buildings wich was unique. They insisted in investing in a build system similar to Rust or Conan Exiles but they are years behind.
Yes, to everything you just said. I miss when you could place/build in/on prefabs without using bear rugs or wallstreching. But I do understand why they removed it.
Is it possible to reach all elements to upgrade them? Or would you have to do like outer/inner layer and top/bottom first and upgrade before you continue with second layer etc?
No...Unfortunately, you can do this at Lvl 1 tops. If you finish the base, you wont be able to complete at least 4 sides of the base ;) Furthermore, you wont be able to do this base after Patch 0.96
Great video as always brother. I post some of my builds over on my channel, not all cause half the time I forget to record and all aren't pvp builds. Like yourself though I dont put videos up for people to follow me, if only 10 people watch them, im happy lol
Well I dont like open roofs like this one. I built it because many of you have been asking for it. That said I would assume those of you who DO like an open roof like this have their own ways to defend against parachuters. Myself, would keep it very simple and place a ton of spike traps. When I build myself, I close iff the roof and build bobwire fences on the top.
Usually tell in the description or show in the video. This one is 350-400 ish. Since the wipe, I cant tell w/o rebuilding it. And I wont do that in a while lol
No idea. Cant check as the save got deleted with the game update more than 3 mobths ago. But I would guess somewhere between 350-400 as my bases usually is around thar number
@@hard...... No it isnt. This is the upgraded version of that base design. Allthough a lot of the bases I made in the past wont work anymore since the Devs patched the ability to build frames in other frames.
It does offer peaks, but not the kind you see in Rust. But tbh, all of my Scum related building videos, were done a long long time ago. Before the building changed, so most of my builds cant be made anymore. Also why I've quit building in Scum in total. I can install the game again and see what I can and can not make and upload the results.
Well its been around since 2018 and since then its beem changed alot. Devs are as active as facepunch in Rust and work hard so if one run ibto bugs, they are fixed decently fast. I havnt played Rust since the autosmelting and move shit around in pipes, became a thing, so I cant speak for Rust but I quit for a reason. Scum is (in my oppinion), the refined work of dayZ, 7dtd and TARKOV. I like then realistic feel to it. Which you dont get from Rust.
Ouff brother I dont remember. After the game update all saves got wiped so I would have to rebuild it to let you know. But my group usually build something between 350-400 elements, so my best guess is somewhere around that number :)

That would be correct yes. With my 8k hrs in rust, its been very fruitfull to combine some building techs from Rust to Scum. Allthough this would be, before widegaps, funnelwalls and all that fun began in Rust :)

I think the "reality" of scums appearance, is damn near the best of them all. And modular building especially, compare to how it used to be with small/medium/large cabin. :)
@@LUXXY1984 yes, that is very true. But there was no surprised to the layout. You pretty much knew where the flag and lockers would be in every base you came across :) And they took up so much space.
