It's nice to hear so much from Bryan Stevenson in this interview, seeing as the film is based on his work. You don't get a lot of that in other interviews. This was really informative and enjoyable to watch. Kudos to the 3 of them for such good work on this film! 👏🏽

I completely relate to Michael's response towards Bryan Stevenson.
"Why haven't I ever heard of this guy and his work? Why isn't he a household name?"
A friend introduced me to Bryan's book, JUST MERCY and likened me to a "stone catcher", just like Bryan. That certainly piqued my interest in reading JUST MERCY.

I'm curious as to whether or not Jamie and Bryan had any discussions about Jamie's hometown, Terrell, TX in Kaufman County which has a history of Lynching.
Did Kaufman County ever claim their memorial pillar from the Peace and Justice project?

That scene didn’t even happen in the book...

Hi❤ if i may ... I'm not sure but maybe Bryan Stevenson wanted to share something more than what's in the book so people who read the book won't feel like the movie was just a repeat of what they already read and maybe don't watch the movie? Blessings to you! Jesus loves you and i do too! 🎉😊💖
