What is the problem with buying petrol at market price when the poor buys Garrie, and Elubo and Bread at market price. If there is anything that should be subsidised, it is Garri.
But all these journalists want you to think we will all die if we buy at market price, because they need to fill up their big jeeps and cause traffic on third mainland bridge. Enter bus Mr. Big man and park your car, it is good for your health. The only thing that the government should be subsidising is food so people don't die, and small businesses so there are jobs for the poor.
Niger is a much poorer country than Nigeria and they are buying at double the price in Nigeria, all our neighbors are buying at market price which is subsidized by Nigeria. It's just all these mini-big-men in their Jeeps that disguise their wants as a fight for the poor. The poor don't have jeeps with 90 littres tanks, go to the village and see them. What they need is food and jobs.

There is a need for NLC/TUC to come back to table with the FG, the arms of the masses had been twisted through them.
We don't even know what the NASS are doing.
Opposition political parties can easily feed fat on this very issue if the present leadership is not very careful. Why toy with the lives of the masses this way?
