Welcome back to Kels and John! We are back and we're in California! It has been a while since our last vlog... with our day-to-day life being so busy, we had to put certain things aside for a while and that included the time we had to create videos. BUT we are doing very well and still doing our random little adventures here and there.
Our July trip to California was a great time to get back into the groove and we were so happy to document the experience. Join us in this week's vlog as we experience all the magic Disneyland has to offer. We prioritized all things unique to the West coast Disney park and had the very best time doing it. Also, who wants to book a trip after seeing a glimpse of Mickey's Mix Magic?! We hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed Disneyland!

After spending all last summer “with you” I’ve realized once I’ve seen you again how much I have missed you both! I to Disneyland in September with my best friend and now I REALLY can’t wait. We are WDW veterans, but something about this park just makes me all emotional. I expect to cry. A lot. So good to see you both!!

Wedding Vacay PlayxPlay - Guess who's back, back again!!! That band is everything! I'm sensing a theme with John, stairs, and gravity. His poor knees and ankles. Canoes, yes please. Kels is correct, Small World is best on the West. Your Matterhorn ride was the wildest ride in the Alps. You could not pay me to get in the tea cups now. They are so cute, but they scare me. Mr. Toad is the favorite of my husband and I. When we were on our Disney honeymoon, it was the first ride we went on and we just absolutely laughed through it. Love it! Tiana is my favorite, as well. We all know Naveen married up. Snack, ride, snack, ride, is a good plan. Now I want a Monte Cristo or a corndog. I've never had a DL corndog. HOLY DANCE PARTY, that is a firework show!!! THAT'S how you do video mapping. Cute sweater, nice choice!
Aww thank you Leigh! missed the playxplay! :) No accidents this time around thank goodness. We loved every moment of it. Regretting not getting on the Small World but will be the must do next time we're in DL. The corndog is def a must! Theres something about the DL corndog that makes it very special and now a tradition for us every time we make it back. :) We hope all is well! -J

All the Disneyland feels! I bet it felt so surreal stepping foot inside the park again. I had forgotten about the train since WDW train has been closed for so long. So awesome to see you guys there having a great time!
It was such a fun time! We definitely loved the train. We do miss the Disney World train and going on the DL one was very nice. We had a great time! thank you! -J

When disneyland does 90s night its even more fun. there is the old videopolis coming back and they run the 90s show music. always fun.

OMG I'm getting chills it feels like old times!!! and you managed to bring up a Disneyland memory from my childhood that was buried wayyyy wayyy wayy in the Long Term shelves in my memory!!! The canoe ride and toon town! Let's just say I agree with John on the Canoe ride hahahaha, I can still feel my sore arms!! I also, love all the character interactions it does feel like they're everywhere it's like a classic Disney advert!! I loved this sooooo much its so good to see you guys in action again!! It makes me miss Disney soooooooo much more now!! love you guys, missed you guys!! and idk about anyone else in comments but seeing the fireworks made me tear up. omg. what a wonderful first day!!

The are slight differences between the two star wars areas. LA has the third gate which orlando doesn't and the direction you come from changes. The only other thing is the color and the placement of props. otherwise its the same just a mirror layout just flipped to get guest through quicker.

Thank you! Kels got them from World of Disney in Disney Springs. Currently sold out on shopdisney but keep an eye out for them. They usually pop back up in no time.

Aww we did not at this trip unfortunately :( We did get to ride it at the previous trip to Disneyland. Making a mental note to do it again next time. :) -J
