Tank Series - Hog Roast....or Algae Roast?

As much as having kidney stones are a blast, we're back at it on the tank and getting ready to set up this Santa Monica Hog1.3 Algae Scrubber! Next week we'll get the other parts to finalize setup!

Is it a concern that by having light pass through the glass intensely, that it may weaken it over time and have a tank crack?

Those algae scrubbers are so expensive I wanted to get the small one for my nano but the price is crazy for a glasses case made into a aquarium tool

They can be costly depending on the model, but if it means resolving an issue with your tank/algae troubles, it can definitely be worth it and a tank saver! It'll be great to see the results as this tank continues :D
