I saw Mike playing here in my city (São José dos Campos, São Paulo state, Brasil) years ago. Probably 2010 or 2011. It was a small club next to my house [HOCUS POCUS STUDIO & CAFE]. That day was awesome. One Of The best shows that I went in my life. Thanks, Mike!
I'll say it for the record, MxPx is the best thing to come out of Kidnapped (Kitsap) county. thanks for the song Mike, look forward to seeing you perform again sometime soon
Awww I love this Mike! Can't wait to learn it. Oh yeah...just found out you're at Rockfest!!That cemented my plans to go again this year. See you in Montebello in June!! ☺✌
I thought the same thing, but I'm guessing he's just sharing emotions around it. Someone above posting there was no emotion, I actually think this captured emotion better than most of Mike/MxPx songs...at least for me.
Is it just me or does this sound like it could be a slower green day song. Wait i guess all green day shit is slowed down and boring compared to back in the day when they weren't sellouts and just rocked people's balls off with their mid 90s punk very punk rock sound that spawned thousands of bands to try n catch that wave while it was still rolling in and hadn't crested yet but once it did it caught a plethora of bands in the the tube and left them fighting and pushing their asses off to come out that otherside n see daylight b4 they got caught in the oceans natural washing machine that rolls and tumbles and slams you off the sandy ocean floor that feels like concrete and eventually you resurface after what seemed like an eternity then you gather yourself tighten your board leash to your ankle even tighter and head back out in hopes of catching that perfect set, unfortunately too many of those bands from the green day era never caught that next set or even paddled back out. Hell most of them are still caught in that spin cycle and won't ever get another chance. No disrespect to this guy who I'm listening too for the 1st time who actually sounds like he's got some talent but you gotta admit he does sound alot like Billy Joe from green day. And I'm not hating too much on green day cuz they were good for a minute until they sold out and went mainstream instead of sticking to their roots.. ya know?? Again not taking anything away from this dude he's got a great voice and the acoustic compliments it even more. ✌🏼👍
That throat clearing at the beginning of this song, might be the greatest musical achievement of our generation!!! frickin EPIC
I love the guy so much who slightly coughed right in the beginning!! XOXO

Yes but... I was waiting for the drums XD
Everything about this feels lonely.
This sounds like a retirement song...

Think this would’ve been alot better with fast drumming 👊
Dude super jealous of that hairline 💯

Jayson Miller sounds like Good Riddance (Time of your life) by Green Day
A lil over produced for me, and lacking a lil bit of emotion but nicely written.
