If young kids start appearing for NLU rather than IIT and medical, I'm pretty sure nepo-kids wouldn't stand a chance.
Having said that, if justice DYCs father was also the cji, does not necessary imply that he is not deserving. Judge him purely for the judgements he gives, and not for who his father was. Now, that will be meritocratic.

I congratulated Rahul Kanwal for conducting excellent interview of CJI , Rahul knows very well what type of questions asked to CJI and he also knows the controversy in connection with appointment of judges through collegium system , Rahul rightly asked about quality of judges and pressure on the judges , when ideas of morality are coming down from every walk of life judiciary is the only citadel that common man can see with some hope , the Hon CJI replies the questions excellently , it is great pleasure to listen the CJI .

Collegium system is good and effective. Collegium system is based on competence while EC selection system is required to be based on consensus. All sensitive constitutional positions differ widely in terms of the nature of responsibility as well as the outcomes that they can genrate to enhance the credibility of the institutions they head and strengthen the confidence they will instill in the citizens.
India needs to listen to such luminaries from every walks of life not just from politics, diplomats, security professionals, historians, actors, spokespersons, critiques etc.

They should reduce their holidays which are 10 days during Dussera 1 month in Dec 45 days in Summer plus delving into subjects which are not in their realm .PIL.and mainly not controlling the Lawyers who pressurize the Judges .and the collegial system of promotions which leads to dynasties .so also just talk

Aur kya saabit karegaa baba tum, Maharashtra political crisis ka decision aayega to wo bhi dekhne layak rahega ya phir 5 judges se zyada ki bench ko transfer hota kya to. Rockstar DYC

This was the best segment of India Time Conclave.. In my opinion, we should have a national judicial school where Judges are made right from 6th standard. They must have complete isolation and almost utopian in their mindset so that they can actually be unbiased from within.
Really inspiring, have restored my faith in our democracy so hard earned , hope to see more issues like EC to get resolved or addressed. May god give more power to people like him to decide the directions our nation takes
