Ecells Monstar or the Kings Crown... I picked up the KC and love it. Solid bike with quality from front to back. The new Monstar won't be out until December, but early videos released of it so far are showing it to be a solid performer.
I have a KC and a Freedom... The KC costs over twice as much, but it's a quality bike and a powerful, luxurious ride. It's built like a tank (and weighs accordingly). However, I still love the freedom for its simplicity ,ease of handling and great torque. I ride and enjoy them both.
I'm 70 years old and I recommend this eBike if you're man enough. It's a Bigniu BG-X. It's 1500w, but only 48v. It has 20x5 tires, and hauls balls easily past 35. On level ground expect upper 30s, and in prefect conditions low 40s. What I just said doesn't even begin to explain it's unique charms though. If you buy one expect to do custom work on it.
That bike does look fun but we kinda like the wired type bike (any brand, 60v+) mainly because theyre quick, fast while still looking like a bicycle for the most part, although that trick is dying off quick. Bignui looks fun but definitely eye catching which isnt my intent, yet!
@@Whoadayson If Jimmu Buffett designed a bike, and rode it hells end, this is the Bonafide ticket...a great bike in spite my vocal shortcoming....ride fast, ride free! RUGER
Great! I just got my new wired freedom assembled and ready to ride and now you're gonna break camp on wired. Bummer. Actually it just started raining here in Central FL. Sooo, guess I'll postpone my first ride until Sunday morning. Another great video. Keep em coming. 👍
Hey Aquatec, I hope you have GREAT performance with your Freedom! Break camp? Oh, I don't know, but I've tried to resolve the short-comings. Problem is that Wired DOES NOT CARE. Being a truthful channel, sometimes the reality is harsh. Until I ride this bike to Goodwill and give it away... it's still my main ride. We'll see how it works out.. 👍👍😎😎 RUGER
@@RugersLastResort What a great bike. Absolutely no issues. Really like having an ebike now, especially this one. Thanks for the heads-up. Also; Really enjoy your videos too!
I'm really tempted to get a wired Freedom. I enjoy your real world vids. I have family out in Apache Junction/Mesa. These bikes would be a blast riding around in the pizza oven of the valley. Have you noticed any decline when it is stupid hot out, or just don't ride at that time? 300 bills Suck though for shipping.
FYI, I have a Gen 2 Wired Freedom and I removed the Fenders and used a locking washer with the front light and I have not had an issue with the front light moving at all, plus the bike looks a hell of a lot better. Good luck Sir and I enjoy your videos 👍🏽
Thanks for watching, Neal. I am probably going to remove the fender and light. Hardly ride a night, I'll carry a handlebar mounted light in my storage bag. Yeah, they do look better without finders for sure 😎 RUGER
Great video. In terms of your question - replace your bike with an e-Cells bike (comparable volts and motor). Lots of comparisons between the two but no-one objective has compared the two bikes that I can see yet. I see paid endorsements on eCells side and paid endorsements on the Wired Freedom side.
You probably would be happy with something similar such as an Ecells bike. I have the Dual Star and absolutely love it. I’ve only got a couple hundred miles on it but have had zero problems.
I have a 2024+ Wired and no issues yet and at 600 miles. I just ordered another bike but I’m not a fanboy and wanted to try something different so I have a Furious ultimate EMX 60 volt on the way. I hope I made a good choice.
Hey Ruger, I've got the fix for the headlight problem. Do you have an email I can send you pictures of the way I mounted my headlight bracket? It works perfectly, no bouncing around or working loose.
I enjoy the ride alongs and commentary. Thinking about ordering front wheel drive kit from Citizens website. I'm a speed junkie too. Ive put 3000+ miles on mine in 5 months.
Congrats man, I hope you enjoy your new ride! Ive always liked Ecells products going back to the AWD only days (which I think they have a 5 star AWD coming? The Monstar - looks cool but $3500+) However Im not a fan of Ecells marketing tactics, especially how they used their 'influencers' to push this latest Wired wobble issue going into full smear campaign mode under the guise of safety of course. It felt much more like trying to hurt your competitors sales by way of smearing them instead of matching their latest competition push by bringing their stock offering up to match, or better, Wired without a price increase, same as Wired did 6mo previously, but that would actually hurt profit... Thats what left a bad taste in my mouth regarding Ecells, which isnt the companies fault really, more the Owner, who as far as I know is not a Veteran (of our military at least). If the marketing wasnt so blatant, Id be onboard with Ecells too, as they are better in how they offer options/choices, which is nice if you dont mind paying for it, and a major plus is Ecells has a better service after sale, at least I think so!!! I decided to go with a different company and its good enough. I just find it funny how 99% of all these bikes come from the same set of factories in the Far East region! They are good at it though! Enjoy your new bike man! Dont let this Ruger guy influence you into bad decisions😁
Look into the new Ecell 5 Star "Monstar" AWD (dual hub) 3000 Watt 80amp with dual batteries. Order it now and get it by December. I presently own a 2024 Wired Freedom. The ecell is a much better build
If I was there in 100 degree weather I'd literally die of heat stroke cause here in Ottawa Canada when it's 30 degrees out it's way to hot for me and is not comfortable. I have no idea how your outside when it's 100 Degrees outside without passing out. Being that hot could literally cook an egg on a rock lol..
