Just did a gearbox replacement on a Mini One and your previous video on one helped me a lot. Tough job on a car lift , much tougher the way you do it on jack stands... Amazing work you do, hard and honest job!
Buddy all I can say is you are a one and only, I don't think I've ever witnessed a gearbox/ clutch professional, I can just imagine you are probably the same expertise if you started timing belt tutorials, I watch your videos just for the shear entertainment, fantastic UA-cam channel ❤❤❤❤
And Volvo designers go... "We have 550k nuts and bolts, lets build one Volvo V60 as tight we possible can" Almost like they do with theis L25 and L35 excavators. Cant express the wish for pension to come soon everytime I get a call and learn it´s one of these machines needs repairs.

@@WMCS update: I did the flywheel, clutchkit, wheel bearings, DPF, rotors & pads, huge intercooler and radiator. As soon as the clutchkit was done, it became a slippery slope... thanks for your videos of the volvos! Cheers

Thank you Phil., same to you and family. I believe the clutch cable on them needs adjusting every so often. I did one today. The Hyundai version but same thing. And the bite point with the new clutch sits about halfway up.. but that’s normal due to it using a cable instead of hydraulic

There is not a person in Ireland in galway city that does that type off work if u came here for two months I guarantee u will leave with savage money 💰
@@WMCS of course mate I show u around I tell u this u will make a killing at this work here I'm a mechanic myself there is nobody around here that does any off the work u do and a lot off people that needs clutch done that has to pay for getting there cars up on recovery trucks to get sent to garages to get done trust me soon as people here about Mobil mechanic clutch repair s we will be phoned none stop I would do it if I had the right tools and money to start a business

The green is a a Gorka 4 bars. It’s canvas like material water repellant for light drizzle. With elasticated Joints to trap air and keep you warm. The rain suit are all SITE waterproofs. I put on the SITE rubber skin layer. Then the water proof bomber jacket. And if it’s a really hairy day I put the SITE waterproof shell on top for it all. Boots are full water proof SITE also. Hope that helps.

Zafira M32 gearbox - end case bearings were shot no doubt - typical M32 box design small weak bearings
Exactly that … end bearings has so much free play … same issue still plagues the newer version and vivaro up to this day.
Trying to find a video of you doing a ford 1.0 ecoboost clutch have you not done one?

Are the minis one of the more painful ones to do? What’s the easiest?
Mini’s a bit more involved. But not the deadliest catch. That honour goes to Citroen and Peugeots and sometimes Vauxhall.
