This song is a masterpiece! Every element is absolutely perfect!
So much feeling in that guitar solo.
Such a lovely song. Mesmerizing solo by Dany.
Live, Dany channels her inner David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) on this quiet, restrained solo. Ale makes her bass sound like Jaco Pastorius on a Joni Mitchell album. Meanwhile, Pau does her usual rip your heart out and stomp on it emotive vocal. She really writes good ballads. The song is great, the album version is great, and live, they are a different band, with a special energy. I have all three of their CDs, and there isn't any song on any of them I won't listen to. But live, they hit harder, even without all the tracking they do in the studio. The album is an appetizer, while a concert is a full course meal. 21st Century Blood is one hell of a great album, period, mostly due to the insightful song writing and the spirited, if simple, performances. When you hear it blind, then find out it was made by three teenagers, it's a kick in the feels.
Lil' Ale not doing bad herself, she's awesome.
It is still amazing to me that all these albums, including the new "Keep me Fed" are so different from the one before. But, you can still just go back and listen to any of them and be caught up in the songs for that album all over again,... and again.
That's what makes this band awesome

Yup. My favorite Dany solo hands down. & the one she’s said she wishes was longer. I dream of the anniversary album cuz I just know Dany’s gonna go full Gilmour and add an extended solo to this and I will melt 🫠

It's crazy they were so young when they wrote this! And as others mentioned, there are still 2 more songs on this album! River's Soul and Exterminated! Both fantastic songs.

Los temas de rock de The Warning son muy diferentes entre si pero todos están llenos de energía ,llenos de fuerza el rock de TW es tremendamente adictivo ,TW utiliza todos los sonidos del rock hasta metal es un rock moderno ,con poderosos riff muy duros jamas se escuchan mal y dominan sus instrumentos como verdaderos maestros ,años de practica,trabajo duro y dedicación han echo de TW un trío de rock de mucha calidad ,TW es un oasis fresco en el desierto de la música actual ,sus temas son inteligentes y sus letras actuales
There are 2 “live session” songs at the end of this album. ‘Exterminated’ and ‘Rivers Soul’. They were written around the time of the EP but they ran out of time to record them. The Sandman video going viral & the Ellen show & then the Liceo show & Berklee made them adjust their plans. Anyway they added them to XXI Century Blood & they are fantastic. (Rivers Soul is one they “force” Ale to sing on occasion. They’re generally not on TW channel so they don’t fit your criteria but maybe a little added bonus😉) Agua Fria was her lead-vocal debut. The voice of Pau is so powerful and full of emotion and this is a powerful song but in a peaceful way ! Don't miss out on "Exterminated" and "River's Soul". They are both part of the album, although "only" as live session recordings.
There are good live videos of them as well, for instance those from Dakota Bar.

i think Dany could take down David Gilmour's best solo of all time if she wanted to, he is lucky she didnt carry that solo on for a little while longer, i can only imagine how mushy my mind and soul would be if she did tho, great reaction and glad your feeling somewhat better, thanks for sharing a treasured gem!
The title of the album is pronounced "Twenty first Century Blood" the XXI are roman numbers ! 😎 Also the confusion about the number of tracks on this album is because the vinyl has 10 tracks, the CD has 11 ! The reason is that the space on a vinyl is quite limited. To fit another track on the vinyl they would have to compromise on the sound quality, something they didn't want to do ! So therefore the vinyl is missing the track "Our mistakes" ! Not sure if you've reacted on that one but it is part of the album too ! 😎
