This is my favourite song by Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman. I heard it not long after the album was released (I was a child) and have loved it since then. But I do like the music of Meat Loaf.

Actually, is "La Poderosa Muerte", but we thank your review of this great song, played by "Los Jaivas", the south american version of Pink Floyd, but they have their own style , and rithm. It´s like Progresive Folk Rock, or something. They are such a great chilean band. Greetings from Chile.

During the 4 years they recorded Divisive, two of the band members' marriages broke down. Drummer Mike Wengren got divorced early in the pandemic and guitarist Dan Donegan went through a split in early 2022. This song is about a disintegrating relationship where each party struggles with letting go. It was inspired by the ending of Donegan's marriage. "That was a really personal one for me," Dan Donegan told Billboard. "During COVID-19, I was going through a divorce after 18 years of marriage. Part of that divorce process is that there was still a great deal of love we have for each other, and we couldn't imagine our lives without each other. Just that letting go, letting somebody go that you still love, but maybe the marriage just might not be working anymore... It was touching on that. It was just very personal." Donegan came up with the concept, then wrote the lyrics with Disturbed singer David Draiman. "I threw a few lines at him, and he took the ball and ran with it." Donegan said. Then Feb 2023 David Draimen also got divorced.

Freeze the Fall is excellent they are going to go far. You should also try and do an interview with The Warning they are awesome and have a very similar background as to how they became a headlining band.

You really need to find the album version, there’s a considerably extended intro featuring some awesome guitar work from Todd Rundgren, and another long verse at the end that carries the story on to a more natural conclusion l

Taylor has such a wide range of types of songs to choose from. Her Reputation album songs like Ready For It, Don't Blame Me, I Did Something Bad are heavy driven. Her Folklore & Evermore albums are very Indie & striped back productions with focus on storytelling, check out Exile from Folklore for a duet with Bon Iver. Her Midnights has great synth sounds in Maroon, Lavender Haze, Midnight Rain. Her 1989 album is referred to as the Pop Bible because the songs demand you listen and move. Lover, Red, Speak Now, Fearless and even her debut album Taylor Swift all have amazing gems, like Cruel Summer, Death By A Thousand Cuts, Mean, Sparks Fly, All Too Well, Red, etc. Since you've dipped your toe & found the water pleasant, I'm hoping you will wade in & not listen to the naysayers that scream 'shark' ;)

Most people judge Taylor from her radio singles but her songs are actually very deep. She writes all of her own songs. If you enjoyed this song then you would enjoy any songs from this album because they all seem to have an 80s feel and have very deep, personal lyrics
