helpful tips: some weapons have the two handed trait, so if you have an item in your offhand they will swing slower. The higher the level the slower it will swing essence can be gained by killing certain mobs. The horned statue can use essence and emeralds for the same stuff as the goddess statue as you saw but its much easier to gain essence than spirit orbs (at least it was pre update, dk now bc a lot was changed) When it comes to epic fight, armour has a weight value so heavier armour will make it so dodging, blocking, and most things you do with stamina cost more. Its not game changing, just need to be conscious of your stamina bar, especially early game You also aren't locked to your class. Though I personally like the idea of limiting yourself to class weapons, you aren't locked to only class weapons Hope this help :)
tbh I think videos like these are better then guides because now I know what I'm actually suppose to do in terms of getting better gear instead of just "follow the quest"
When you jump and attack when you are falling you do a crit attack just like in vanilla mc, useful for creepers and enemies you wanna just hit once and back off.

You need a certain skill to parry attacks i think its called Guard.Btw different weapons consume different amount of stamina, also you can steal from villagers without lowering your reputation you just need to not be seen.
i reccomend you set the special attack key for the epic fight mod to a key that you can easily press but not the attack button cause the spears special attack makes you do an extra attack if you hit an enemy with it, also maybe you should get a ranged weapon
@@CrisperMC Maybe it's because I'm watching not playing with breath of the wild I didn't get this feeling watching people play it and TOTK i felt it was fine. Maybe it's that you can tell exactly how many blocks your moving Which is way it looks like it feels bad.

Ranger class is the best class, along Tank and Enchanter. When You have 2 friends to play with

Epic Fight is pretty much the point of the modpack lol it’s a little difficult to get used to but still pretty fun to use
I don't think you used your second skill the one with the eye at the bottom right corner, check your keybinds to see if its binded to another key.

I really don't like that stamina mod it's not added well. Texture pack also looks weird but I guess I can get used to it.
both are perfect imo, this type of stamina adds difficulty to fighting which I really like
